Scribbled Glue Card
Hi crafters! I love how the Scribbled glue technique mixed with some pixie powders really gives you a background that pops off the page, don't you?
The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x 8" in size. All for now, Sue x
Love your scribbled glue background. I just want to go make backgrounds up! It is a really good card to have in reserve as so versatile. Thank you for today's video. Enjoyed it. Have a wonderful day all.
Hello Sue and all I happened on this video this morning on the net and just loved the background. Your imagination is amazing Sue, I can’t wait to try this one, just loving those pixies !! Hugs Muriel x
Hi Sue. I remember watching you have fun making these backgrounds years ago well before the HOCHANDA days and they still look good, but like Jan, not quite my style, although I have quite a few of the CS faux pearl glue as I call it, it's either gone all watery above the nozzle, or thick and gloopy so it would take time for me to get them working properly to achieve this kind of background but I'll enjoy watching you make it on the video layer. Have 'giggling Phill' on record to see what he comes up with using your new octagons so a great lazy day ahead lol. Sending love and hugs your way xxx
Morning Sue and all the Wilsonettes What a gorgeous background love the colours and pixie powders are my most favourite thing ever they make the most really pretty backgrounds but have so many other uses as well
Sending love and healing hugs to all that need them xx
Hi Sue - I love the scribbled effect on certain cards and have used this in the past for grandchildren’s Easter cards in chocolate colours. Love the colours you have used today. Sending best wishes YvonneMayxx
Good Morning Sue. I really love this card Sue the background is brilliant .... I have the dies you have used and also I have two male birthdays coming up in the next two weeks. This is something I have to do. I have just bought a couple more pixie powder colours.... so I have a good selection now. Thankyou for the inspiration Sue. Sending best wishes to everyone. Kind regards Ann Toppcards Leeds
Good Morning Sue and all I have to say what amazing back ground you have created for the back ground. The effect is stunning and the colours, thank you for doing the video. The back ground would work with so many of your dies. Crafty hugs and well wishes to all.... Wendy
I notice you always say dries clear glue but the bottles now say something about PVA glue. I'm hoping they are the same.
Dragonswing, you can click on the ad on this blog to find one place that sells Sue's dies. The link takes you to Joanna Sheen's website, where there's a gallery of Sue's cards. If you select the shopping option from the list at left, you can view by manufacturer, so choose Sue Wilson. There's also eBay and other merchants.
Love this background. If it weren't for the fact I have to leave the house in five minutes to go to the dentist, I would be running upstairs to start the first gluing process ready for an anniversary card due next month!
Good morning Sue fabulous background to this card zag so many have said about great card for the men on our lives! I've been watching Phil demo your octagon dies he's done you proud made some gorgeous cards Sending good wishes to all
