Hi

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's card was shown on Hochanda a couple of weeks ago and you can probably still catch it on Rewind if you would like to see this card demonstrated.  I started with a piece of white Yupo paper and added Ranger Sunshine Yellow and Raspberry Alcohol inks with a Ranger felt applicator tool.  You cover the card by tapping the applicator all over the card, then add a few drops of Blending solution to your applicator and go back over it and watch the inks dance across the page.  They will change the more you play with them but they do't really seem to ever mix completely so you get some really interesting looks from it.  I cut the "Hi" mini expression die out of the very centre of the background before assembling the card.  Next, I cut the Poppy die out of coconut white card and backed it in vellum.  I cut the centre die twice and nipped away a couple of flowers, then glued them to each other in opposite directions.  I added a solid backing to it then mounted in the the middle of the card, adding the decorative Hi sentiment.  I used the inside die a couple more times, cutting it out of vellum so I could use the main flower form it.  I nipped it away and added it to the top of the card over the main flowers on either side.  White on white mats and layers finished this simple card off nicely.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4" x  7 3/4" in size.  All for now. Sue x

  6. Hiya Sue. Oh yes I remember this demo really well, how much fun did you and Hayley have with the blending fluid and how brilliant was the camera man that showed us the reason for the excitement and laughter you shared, it looked really amazing to see how it all changed with the blending fluid and I get your 'addiction' lol real magic was happening right in front of our eye's. And this was the beautiful outcome, it's really pretty with the background and its shows even more just how delicate and gorgeous the Poppy die is, a really lovely start to our week. I'd forgotten the comment game rules, and it's so sad to see that for the first time in years Tuesday's blog didn't reach the 100 mark or over so no comment game winners, so I'm pleading with all those long standing followers that for whatever reason you started to dwindle away over the years, please don't just drop by to view the days card, maybe you will consider leaving your comments again, I've gone back a good few years and so many of the regular blog buddies names are missing and it's so sad, so please will you consider joining us again, since 2016 the numbers have slowly dwindled, now is the time to return to this beautiful blog please don't stay in the background anymore you've been missed over the years.
Have a wonderful day Sue wherever you are whatever you do have fun xxx
