Textured Background Card
Hi bloggers! Here is a great idea for those male birthdays you need something for. The Industrial Chic collection dies are just perfect for using with any sort of textured backgrounds and this one is really easy to achieve!
The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning Sue. I can imagin the amount of work that went into this sample and that you have a lot of admirers that love the effect of steampunk and grunge, but I just can't get into it, that being said I've also seen some quite feminine type steampunk-ish cards made with this collection (Sandy) and I've been wowed at its beauty, so maybe I sit in the middle somewhere ? I will admit that I'm intrigued at how you got to this end result so I'll be popping into your craft room recording area as soon as I get some quiet time ☺ Sending hugs to you this Thursday xxx

Good Morning Sue. I love this background technique not done it yet as I have not tried the texture paste. I have all the dies you have used so am going to have a try but just using p.powders. Hello Sue, You have made a lovely piece of artwork in the form of a card but it just isn’t one I’d try to replicate. I can still admire the work though! You do grunge so well and so pretty. Thanks for the video. I tried your random glue "strings" with pixie powder technique; that I liked the look I got from doing this. And now, I want to try the texture paste with the pixie powders. You are so innovative!

I really don’t know about the grunge look! I certainly don’t dislike this card but I certainly won’t be making one, however I will watch the video in a minute as I want to see how you use the pixies. Thank you Sue for showing us all these different techniques.

I really don’t know about the grunge look! I certainly don’t dislike this card but I certainly won’t be making one, however I will watch the video in a minute as I want to see how you use the pixies. Thank you Sue for showing us all these different techniques.

My pixies arrived and I am itching to use them but so has a visitor for the weekend so I will see if I get a chance to play, will have to wait to watch the video too but will as soon as possible
