Good Sunday morning all! It's another clean and simple sort of day today! I started with a piece of navy blue card as my background and cut three layers of the
Stitched Clouds in white. Working from just above the halfway point, I glued the first two layers down directly to the card. From the
You Are My Sunshine die set, I cut a rainbow base out of white and filled in all the pieces from various pastel shades. I glued the rainbow to the centre of the card just under the cloud level. Next I added mounting foam to the remaining layer of clouds and added it below the rainbow. The last layer is actually the negative piece from the cloud and I added foam and attached it all the very bottom. Also from the
You Are My Sunshine die set, the sentiment was cut twice in white and stacked and glued into the upper corner. The remainder of the card was filled in with various sized stars from the
Twinkle Twinkle Cloud and Star die set. Several of them were sprayed with glue then glittered with
Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz for a touch of bling. White on white mats and layers completed the card. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 1/4" in size.

ReplyDeleteYou've designed a really happy sample full of colour. We all know you design your dies for more than use, that's why they are real value for money, many companies give us dies but single use that can't be used for other things or flowers that cant be formed to get many different variances, but both Lisa and Julia recently showed just how many different ways your Landscape clouds and rainbows can be used, and Julia did the same with her recent shows and it's so great to be shown how to think outside the box especially when my box is closed and taped tight! I'm absolutely useless at doing that but that's what your dies do so that's why your dies are way above all others in the market. I see Polkadoodles have released stitched clouds and landscape dies now ! But we know where our loyalties lie Sue, your DIY and Babys First Pram came to join me yesterday thanks to my festive orders, market next week, so I'm hoping and praying with all my worth that I do okay as I've already made my 'Need'list of your new collection lol that raised an eyebrow I can tell you lol.

Hi Sue, I do like your CAS cards and I love the little touch of sparkle on the stars. Your hills and cloud dies are being well used here and instead of cutting a cloud shape as I have seen you do I have used cut outs from the dies to ink against, works a treat.
ReplyDeleteWell it has started to snow heavily again here so now we have snow on frozen snow and ice. I won't be going anywhere today but I do hope the forecasters have it right and it will turn to rain later on. If you have snow and have to go out please wrap up well and stay safe.
