Hi bloggers! We have two die sets on offer during this post. The Merry & Bright die and the Garland Edger die set. Shown here, you can see just how lovely they look when used together, The Merry & Bright is a modern font with style and easily readable. The Garland Edger set has been designed in the style of being easily usable for any occasion, not just for Christmas, so there is a lot of versatility to it. The edgers are easily extendable as there is not an end cut to them. They also do not have a bottom cutting edge so you can make them whatever sized border you would like for your projects. They can be easily cut into edges or you can use a paper cutter to make them into borders as well. This is the last post for day four so don't forget to leave your comments to be entered into the drawings. You can go back and leave comments on any of the earlier posts you may have missed too, but please only one comment per individual posts. The directions on how to leave a comment are on the right hand side of my blog if you are new and have never done it before. There is no time like the present to start though! All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteFabulous, gorgeous, stunning card. I couldn't decide which adjective to use so decided to use them all! Merry and Bright is a lovely sentiment and nice font. The Garland edger without its end cutting edge will be so useful for landscape, portrait or as you have used it here diagonal cuts. Another definite on the ever increasing wish list. Thank you for another wonderful day of surprises and inspiration.
Carmen are you anywhere near Melissa? Wouldn't it be brilliant if you were.
Maureen, I've got the strawberries, now just need the recipe!

ReplyDeleteLove the Garland edger die, Sue. Could be used for any occasion.
ReplyDeleteAnne (Northampton)
Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!
ReplyDeleteOoh, my excitement is reaching its pinnacle now Sue, yet another fabulous design that has multiple uses, can my delicate constitution withstand this?....and we are only on Day Four! How thoughtful, practical and utterly fantastic of you to consistently consider the use ability of each die, you have succeeded in creating a design that can be used time and again throughout the year and for that i salute you....personally, I don't mind if a die is specifically festive in design and theme but I can appreciate that many are on a restricted budget and look for dies that are multifunctional.
Boy, its been a real rush for me today, I've spent the past 90mins reading others and writing my own comments and now i have brain freeze!:-)
As i said, it has been a hectic day...it began at 12am as i wandered the streets in my nightie calling Darcey in for her supper, but, as is her usual preference when the temperature is so high at night, she came to me but flatly refused to go anywhere near the house. Against my better judgement i just left her to it hoping for the best and sure enough, she sauntered back home at 5am!
She wasn't the only troublemaker today though, Brodie has been exercising his hunting skills over the past few days catching and eating flies and sadly butterflies which i can just about cope with but this afternoon he came back home proudly carrying a little sparrow:-( What do you do in these circumstances when its too late to save the poor bird? Yes, you be a grateful Mum and tell them just how clever they are whilst silently hoping that all their future hunting attempts fail miserably!
We had a little bit of sunshine today!!! Considering its Norah's birthday i am glad that the cloud shifted briefly from her hills, the Ohils are indeed beautiful, we are so lucky to live in their backdrop but we don't often have glorious clear skies in these parts....every time i took out the sun lounger the clouds appeared:-( On the bright side though there has been no rain for a few days now!
Norah, lovely to see you back sweetie, hope that you have enjoyed your special day. Sorry to hear that things have been tough for you physically of late, we miss your posts but wish you a speedy recovery....hospital visits are a real drain on your energy but i hope that the results were good. Belated birthday wishes to Harry too, hope he enjoyed his partiesxxx
Maureen, it sounds like you REALLY enjoyed your party yesterday you lush! You're not fooling anyone with your protestations that you're tee total, Myra and Saba have told me about that gin drip you use of a night:-) Good nights sleep? More like passed out!....by the way, it sounded gorgeous, wouldn't mind the recipe myself!:-)
Pat, every time i read your post i can sense a deep seated bitterness, Barbados ain't gonna happen, let it go already!:-)
Pam, Carmen and Saba are indeed unnecessarily cruel, i thought that being half Yorkshire would mean that i could expect some loyalty from Saba but seemingly not:-( She needs to remember her roots and divorce herself from any incumbent troublemakers.....you could sort them out for me Pam, you are the moral backbone of the blog after all.......please!:-)
Tracy, sending hugs to you honey, i lost my Dad a year ago and am finding today really difficult too. The first few years will always be hardest but we have lovely memories to cherish and that will hopefully help see us through the special days like birthdays and anniversaries. Hope you are well other than that though, not long before the fertility treatment i hope?xxx
Yvonne, thinking of you and your lovely boys today, I'm sure Steve is with you all on this special day but still, it cant be easy:-(
I'm really worried about wee Dillon, i hope the news is good from the vets, Jake must be in bits the poor soul, fingers crossed that everything works out okayxxxxSend them my love honeyxxx

Good evening Sue & the Wilsonettes,
ReplyDeleteI do like your edger dies Sue with the way that they can be combined or singular on their own. The size of the sentiment dies this year are so perfect and take up that ideal size on the card. All in all yet another stunner to set our creative minds working overtime . Just thinking Sue, you must have near enough all your Christmas cards made that you need, to send upon doing your examples for each die being launched which means you are always mega ready well before the time, lol. Thank you flower for a beautiful way to end the day, it has been a lovely journey today.
Thank you Lorraine and Pam for thinking of me and my birthday wishes, it did brighten up late this afternoon which was nice . Wee Harry came across this morning and the first place was out to play on his swing and chute that his papa bought for him, I think everyone in the place now bows about just how "wonderful" his papa is...I have other names for him and none of it includes him being wonderful I can assure you, lol.
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (glenochil)
Two more wonderful Christmas dies and another gorgeous card! xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Sue,
ReplyDeleteThis a very pretty edger die set and makes a good combination with the sentiment die for Christmas but could be used any time.
Thank you for sharing.
Véronique L
Evening Sue. A beautiful card to finish day 4 of your fantastic Christmas dies but not all of them are for Christmas which is fantastic and great value for money. The Garland Edger is going to be so versatile. It's a great idea not to give the Edger any cut lines at either end so we can make it to any length. I have your Sentiment dies because the fonts are gorgeous plus my stamping is still not very good so I use the Sentiments if my stamping turns out to be rubbish lol. See you in the morning to see more of your beautiful cards and dies.
ReplyDeleteBest Wishes.
Denise T x
Hi Sue, I really like this edger set as you can use it at any time so much more versatile.
ReplyDeleteWendyx
Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card to finish day 4! A beautiful edger die and words. Thank you for another lovely day.
Good luck everyone!
Saba – No, I am not close to Alberta. I live in Ontario, where she used to live. But it doesn’t mean we cannot get in touch.Yes,Laine is catching up ... but she's still behind.:)
Maureen – I had lots of strawberries ...not anymore, but I love your idea to throw everything in it, sounds incredibly good, definitely a must-try!
Pam – You should accept Laine’s offer ...if she pays you well.:)
PP - Any news? How is Dillon doing?
Laine - See if you did not get your “homework” done in time? You should read some old posts to figure out what we are talking about ... or just wait.:)
Have a great weekend everyone (it is still Sunday here!)

ReplyDeleteI really am new to your site and your way of doing things. Love you and your videos. Us girls play a game sometime when watching your show. Every time you say pop we take a sip of wine. It is great fun! I'm from Alberta Canada and just ordered your Humming Bird die from a great store called RR Scrapbooking in Edmonton Alberta Canada. The owners name is Reah and she promotes your products with passion. She is the one who told me about all your great tutorials. Just curious your cards are so big where do you find envelopes that size to mail them out? I know your very busy so thanks for all your time you spend making video.

I missed this post yesterday as well as the previous one. Just catching up. I have the Merry and Bright die - not tried it yet, but I do like the look of it.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue. Ooooh Sue this card is Sooo beautiful !!! I love the colour combo you have used and the Poinsettia's are gorgeous !!! Your new Merry and Bright word die is fab. I love the font of it, but the star of the show on this card is your new Garland edger dies !!! JUST FABULOUS !!! The designs of all three borders are stunning. I think these dies could easily be used all year round. Such fab versatility. Oh Sue, how am I going to choose anything ? Thank you. Lots of love Sue from Tres x x x
