Stained Glass Collection

Hi bloggers!   This post is all about the Butterfly Stained Glass design.  Just to give you a little bit of my vision for these designs, I wanted something that would be a great quick card in a pinch.  The Stained Glass dies allow you to create a beautiful card with a multitude of different techniques and they can be used for any occasion. I have sized these to fit a smaller card size too as I have had many requests for that option.   Shown here, the Butterfly design has been paper pieced back into a white frame for a lovely colourful and striking look.  If you like this one, just leave a comment on this post.  Remember, you can comment on each and every blog post if you like, but only one per post please.  The next post will be arriving at 3pm, so I hope you can join us back here then.  All for now, Sue x

    Well I have not done anything - my body has gone into shock after participating in activity at such an early hour. I think it best to continue my quest to direct all energy completely to the Wilsonettes cause. And that is why I am and always will be your favourite Sue. Lol x

    Hi Sue. WOW !!! Another amazingly beautiful card !!! The Stained glass butterfly die is gorgeous and you have used my favourite technique- paper piecing !!! This is so, so lovely Sue. I did not buy this die at Ally Pally. I am seriously regretting that now.     Sue you have given me a dilemma already! Husband has offered to buy me a stained glass die for Easter, but which one do I choose? Love both of these cards. Rather like the way the sides of the design has been backed in black & that really makes it stand out. Looking forward to the third in the series.

    This is my favourite stained glass die, i love it! They way you have paper pieced this sample is inventive and highly effective, i adore the soft colours used and the micro beaded frame which enhances the lines of the focal image. These dies are a joy to behold and i am so excited to see the rest of today's reveals.

    Hi Sue. I have to say that I do really like the stained glass dies nd agree that they can make quick but effective cards. This was the one that I didn't get at Ally Pally - there did have to be a limit to what I got due to limited funds and the amount that I could carry!
