Frames & Tags

Hi crafters!  We have two more sets in the Frames & Tags category; the Lucy die set and the Jessica die set.  Shown here in the sample is the Lucy die set.  It has been used as a focal element behind the sentiment in white as well as in the background of this card cut in black, showing the versatility of the set.  The Jessica die set is a smaller die set that works well with all the other dies in this release.  You will get a glimpse of it at work on one of the later posts so keep your eyes peeled!  Don't forget to leave a comment on this post to earn a chance to win one of these die sets.  The next post has been scheduled for 3pm today so please drop back by to see what you think!  All for now, Sue x

    This is such a stunner. Breath takingly beautiful. It's no good Sue - I am stumped as to how you do it. Amazing x
    I am also stumped as to any more original adjectives there are to describe all your wonderful creations. I think I have exhausted most possibilities 10 times over x
    I am a bit of a sucker for square dies as square cards do seem to be the ones which I make the most. So Lucy was earmarked to be a really good friend of mine as soon as I saw her x
    Just a reminder though Sue. You really need to add some dies to your entourage with classy names (you know what I mean - don't you) x
    I am in a bit of a flap what with trying to play catch up on all the blog posts I missed and the washing and the - well I am sure you get the picture. I will soldier on like the true saint I am - even if it is at snails pace!

    Hi Sue, A very beautiful card, and two fabulous die-sets. I love the 'swirly' flowing detail of the Lucy die set and love the more-structured effect of the other die set, which to me seems a little Art Deco in style. I love both die sets, and can see these being definite 'go to's'.

    It looks gigantic, but you must have cut it in half diagonally to make the frame. Amazing!

    Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

    Well, isn't Lucy a true beauty, i get the feeling that we could be the best of friends....sorry Yvonne.....she is gorgeously intricate and yet again so versatile. This stunning card shows off her many facets to perfection, i love it, especially the colour palette you have chosen, so rich and regal, yes, Lucy and i have such a lot in common:-)
    Maureen, glad to see that you are ignoring Yvonne's request for your address because that would take you down a perilous road of no return.....if you don't want to make my mistake then continue to ignore her pleas, I've had such harassment since i was foolish enough to part with my details....thank goodness she's stopped short of a visit due to the distance but she's proved that Newcastle is an easy commute so BEWARE dear friend:-)
    See you later lovely ladies, off out now, havent washed my hair which is a big no no in my world so feeling slightly self conscious.....i even usually wash and set it before a haircut so this is out of character, hope I'm not on the slippery slope to slovenly behaviour! The hairdresser will soon sort me out though:-)

    Afternoon lovely. Glad I'm back from my appointment in time before the 3pm showcase, but it doesn't matter how hard you try and persuade me to give the frames and tags a home, the Kinetics are first, then the beautiful lace border from this morning's sample, but I'm sure the frames etc won't be short of homes going by the numbers on your fabulous blog.     Gorgeous Lucy, gorgeous Jessica, together they make a stunning card. Anither two for the list, so far haven't ruled any out lol.
    Thank you ladies for the vote of confidence,. My task isn't for the big Ancestory site, it is anither Guild but is still quite large. I must admit to feeling a little daunted, sympathy cards are so hard. I'm going to make a variety and let them choose. It came about because someone did my Mums family line (she died when we were children) and I sent a handmade thank you card. Their current cards look like circulars.

    The Lucy tag is definitely on my wish list as i love doing square cards and this is just such a beautiful die and a good size to make into a card or as a focal image. I like how you can make 4 into a square, putting one on top as the focal point but below looks just a bigger version and makes you see if it is just one die or whether it has been a few diecuts put together. thank you for a gorgeous card and an equally gorgeous die that is just calling my name.
