Star Flower Cluster Card
Hi bloggers! Today's video is a cheery card that can be used for so many occasions! It also shows how you can use the Stitched Flag die set to highlight your focal element!
The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Gorgeous card, really gorgeous. P in Wales, your aunt is amazing. June, how brave are you but little things like walking on your own even fit a few steps mean huge advances, remember Robbies progress. Hope you enjoyed getting back to your card class, take care. Sharon, apparently this bug takes about 3 weeks to clear so you must be towards the end, keep warm and safe. Elaine, so happy that Andrew is better this time. He deserves an easier time. Tina, you are good to Peter but he is worth it. Laine, we all know you are a softy really. Hank you for all good wishes, the thought of a third pneumatimonia in 5 years scares me, I don't want to end up in Norah's hotel again. Hugs to all, Tracey take care on that early shift.
Morning Sue and crafters all, Beautiful card this morning, using the Starflower in this way making a wreath is so pretty. Pam - glad you are feeling a bit better-oh how lovely it would have been if you could have stayed at home rather than work to quicken recovery. June Smith - you certainly are brave attempting to walk unaided, please take care. Peter is ok - still waiting to hear from the hospital re his swollen leg!!!!! Love and crafty hugs to all, Tina T xxxx
Morning Sue. this is really a beautiful card this morning. I don't own either of these dies, but I do have the first set of Peirced flags plus a couple of the other similar shaped floral dies which I love making circular elements with they are so versatile and make the most beautiful keepsake cards. I look forward to getting my dose of video inspiration to give me extra ideas for the dies I do have once my 'keeper' and his four legged girlfriend go hunt the owl without freaking out at the country park lol. Sending my usual hugs and hope you have an enjoyable day xxx
Good morning Sue. A very bright and beautiful card, the splash of colour is very cheerful on a dark and windy morning. Pam, pleased that you're recovering and that it's not pneumonia again. Hugs to all. Sue xxx
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, a beautiful card today, loves the flag dies, will watch the video later.
Pam I often think of the progress that Robbie has achieved, it certainly puts mine into perspective. I keep thinking that if I can walk without a stick then that must be strengthening the muscles in my knee, well I hope that is right anyway. Had a great time at my craft clu7b, stayed for 2 hours which was really lovely, caught up on all the gossip, and helped our newest recruit, she wanted to know how to make a gate card with a flap coming down that she had seen on facebook. Might have a try at one of these at some stage.
Sharon, how are you doing, are you feeling any better, take each day as it comes ??
Tina I do hope you hear soon from the hospital re appointment regarding Peter's swollen leg, it seems to have dragged on now.
P in Wales, you have a very special aunt.
Elaine hope Andrew is feeling better today,
Laine, what a softy you are.
Special hugs to anyone I have forgotten and I am sure I have.
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Good morning Sue. Another stunning design in such a lovely colour combination, so striking. I look forward to watching the video when I get home tonight.x
Such a pretty star flower wreath - I don't have that die but I do have the daisy cluster set which I love and use often so this card is right up my street.
June - glad you enjoyed your craft class and your knee is getting stronger every day...
Lovely card, Sue, do like the flower clusters made into a wreath - think that set will be a must-have! Seen John using them on H - he's a wee genius too. Would be great to have a poinsettia cluster ??!! Thanks as ever for the video. Pam, so pleased pain is not the dreaded P, but still take care. Yes, my aunt is truly remarkable but on this visit can see that her sharp mind is starting to fade. So sad. And Andrew - great to have some improvement. Maureen - yay! Please don't stick any more pins into the picture - it doesn't work ha ha. Or..... does it? Hugs to all especially our recovering pals. And to Laine, PP and Wheely.
Good morning Sue For some reason my internet is not working properly this morning and the video is stop starting all the time, will try to watch later. I love today's card it's so pretty! Hugs x Heather T

Oh yes, I do like this stunning card! I'm going to make a cuppa so I can sit and watch the video in comfort. :) Hugs to all in need of them today, Paula x (WelshPaula)
Hi, Sue, What a stunner today! I do love the way that black and pink go so well together. Off to see the video while I sit with a cuppa :) Sad day today, six weeks ago my sister lost her wonderful Welsh Springer Spaniel Merlin, to peritonitis. It was so unexpected. Yesterday afternoon, she lost her remaining dog, Dizzy, who was a springer/collie x. Dizzy was an epileptic and the condition was kept under control quite well with drugs, however, a couple of days ago she went kind of nuts and although she seemed okay during the days, enjoying her walks and running after her ball for as long as you wanted to keep throwing it, the nights saw her whining, pacing and even fitting. Sis took her kitten for his snip and chip yesterday and she spoke to her favourite vet who said it sounded like a brain tumour, so sadly, when she went to pick the kitten up, who has the wonderful name of Mouse, she also took Dizzy with her. She said she had a wonderful last walk and slept peacefully during the afternoon, which almost made my sis change her mind. I think we all agree that it was the kindest thing to do. She said no more dogs now, she's sticking to cats as they don't let you love them as much as dogs do. As I sit here watching my dog trying to eat my kitten I keep thinking that. although she can be a royal pain in the bum, I don't know what I'll do when her time come to leave me...I'm the opposite from my sister though as I would want another dog, and may even get one while I still have Misty. On a happier note, I saw something really cool in our covered market this morning...a knitted sloth!!! The wool used is super soft, and £4.99 a ball, and I think that I'm going to have to get a kit, or even two, one for my sis. I may just get one pattern and enough wool for two, send it all to her and get her to knit them both and send me one back as she's a better knitter than I am lol. Happy very wet and windy Thursday everyone. Bejay xx

Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteI was thrilled to find out I was one of the lucky winners in your new collection draw. Thank you so much!!!
I am looking forward to receiving it and having a play.
I am staying with a friend for two days crafting and, because I have all these dies, we have had great fun today creating a slightly smaller version of your gorgeous card. We are really pleased with the results as they are such lovely dies and look so good used as a wreath.
Thank you again, Sue, for your generosity.

ReplyDeleteHello Sue,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely die and this card really shows it off to perfection.
Thinking of Tina & Mick, Tina & Peter, Elaine & Andrew - I hope he hears soon, Tracy, June S - take it carefully and Pam - oh my word you don't want pneumonia again.
'P', I wouldn't stick pins in your picture - or would I? ha ha.
Also hoping Laine and PP are well and happy.
Bejay, sorry to read about your sister's dogs.
