Pacific Ocean Collection

Hi there my crafty friends!  Welcome back to the final blog post for the first day.  Last but not least is the Pacific Ocean Background die set.  Shown here with the other tag from the Tag Duo set, you can see just how lovely it looks when made into a beautiful card project.  This is a full sized background so the possibilities are there for so many design layouts.  Great for a quick card too as it will definitely give you the real wow factor.  If you would like the chance to win this set, just leave a comment on this blog post.  Tell me what you think of today's offerings.  Have a favourite yet?  Day two will set off at 6am in the morning.  I would love to see you back here then!  All for now, Sue x

    I love your background dies and this is no exception. Like you say, they build up and layer beautifully but can also create a very effective simple card too

    Another delicate background which you could never have cut without a die cutting machine & one of your beautiful dies. I make a lot of rectangular cards so can see this becoming a firm favourite. As Rose says it's impossible to choose a favourite although this may well end up on top of the wish list. Looking forward to tomorrow. Thanks for your inspiration Sue.

    Well your collection of beauty wouldn't be complete without a background die just to bring it all together. Thank you for making both corners as sometimes we or i want the things going the opposite way but am stuck because the corner goes the wrong way for me to make it happen. Your borders and corners make beautiful frames or layers to show off the main attraction but also just to show off a sentiment does what full on fancy card would be too much for.

    Now come on Sue, favourite ? You know us regulars by now, all typical women, we change our minds as often as the weather changes and then some ! One thing I will share with you is that this card sample is just out of this world. It's absolutely stunning, well if this is day one of the new dies, I just can't wait till you show us what you've done to show the rest because today's are really beautiful.     Hi Sue, well you are finishing day one with as much of a bang as it started. This is a beautiful card and I think we are going to see a lot more of the lovely flowers and leaves. The background die is really lovely and has so many possibilities. The whole Pacific Ocean collection is gorgeous. I wonder what is in store for us tomorrow.

    This background die set is surely another winner, so delicate and versatile! Fabulous card, it shown so well all the dies toghether! Very elegant!
    I have seen the new leaves.... oooohhhh.. just amazing! :) They have catched my eyes and my heart!
    My favourite die set for this first day is also the most simple but so versatile: Bora Bora. It's a must have for me.

As Gloria mentioned, we may see previews of your dies and pick our favourites, but once you've worked your magic with a card using them we can change our minds....or more likely want them all!

    Oh Sue, you are a hoot:-) , how could we possibly be asked to choose a favourite from a set that offers so much scope individually and collectively? An impossibility, but it is endearing of you to assume that there may be an aspect of today's dies that we don't quite take to as much as the others, what nonsense, they are all equally stunning in their own right and deserve similar praise and appreciation. Your card samples have been outstanding thus far, tempting and teasing us with promises of the delights yet to come....again i have to give special mention to the flowers, i love the open petal design, its lush!....i have been known to proclaim that I don't need any more flower based embellishments, oh how wrong can a girl actually be?
    Wheely, so glad Billy is improving rapidly, just wish that you didn't have to suffer quite so much:-( , ten days with a migraine is torture, i'm so, so sorry for you. Hope an improvement is on the horizon for you. Hugsxxx
    Norah, I do hope the sorrow that you mention in your post doesn't relate to you and your loved ones:-( Wishing a little bit of happiness and good fortune to visit you and your family/friendsxxxx
    Deb C, i have spent a good half hour on many an occasion spilling my guts out only for it to mysteriously disappear, its so infuriating...and draining. It is always lovely to hear from you though, hope FIL is well and behaving himself with his new girlfriend....there's hope for me yet:-)
