Snowflake Sparkle Card
Hi crafters! Today's video card uses the Bold Snowflake Flurry. It shows you how to use all the pieces together to create a bold snowflake statement on your card.
The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/4" in size. All for now, Sue x
Stunning card Sue, lovely snowflake Myra, so glad Emily is doing well, she is a very brave little girl. Thank the Lord for that doctors actions. Pat, your Sarah is such a little star, she never complains, glad she is happy with the new chair. Elaine, how lovely that Andrew and Daniel had some man time together. Tina and Peter, hope all went well at hospital. Tina and Mick, you are in my thoughts. Bejay, leave the dog alone, hope both of your heads are feeling better. June, such a tense time for you, try not to worry you will be fine. Work is going well. We are always changing the type of work we do so there was nothing new. Tracey, have a great time at Craftworld, your Graeme is such a keeper. Lorraine, Laine, and all who are not well, and our missing friends, big hugs to all.
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, wow Sue what have you given us today, this is super duper, I am going to watch the video in a minute when hubby brings my breakfast but I really like it. When I first looked at the picture I thought you had done the background using the dotted mask and sparkle texture paste then I saw the close up and realised it was an embossing folder...........now that is an idea - might get to have a play later.
My order for your new Poinsettia Frame and Wintery Frame embossing folders arrived yesterday so I am going to have a play with them later.
Pam, pleased work is going well, yes still nervous but that is natural so I won't dwell on it, however I have got a cold today, I think it is because of the flu jab I had last Friday, I am just hoping it has cleared up by next week otherwise they will not do the surgery.
Myra I was so pleased to ready about Emily, yes as Pam says a very brave little girl, and you will always be indebted to the wonderful Doctors who saved her, sending her special hugs.
Pat, Sarah being happy with the white chair is good news, I have never seen a white one myself so she is unique and very special. I would still add a little bit of bling haha xx
Sending special hugs to Elaine, Andrew, Tina, Peter, Tina Mick, Bejay, Tracey, Lorraine, Laine and anyone else I have forgotten. xx
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

This has given me an idea for some special Christmas cards, that I have been dithering over the design for. Have a great day. Bx
Morning Sue. A beautiful festive card today full of sparkle, just what a festive card needs, snowflakes and sparkle, will hook up with your tutorial later and look forward to gaining more inspiration. Will be putting the little boys first birthday card together later today, the woman that ordered it loves the little stitched elephants that swing from the frame so if she's happy, then I'm happy 😊 Hoping your family and friends in Florida stay safe Sue, must be a worrying time for you watching the weather news, that satalite picture they showed earlier was nothing more than creepy ! Sending extra big hugs today xxx

Two gorgeous Christmas cards today Sue! Did you mean the video to show a different card to photos of the card on the blog though? Not that it matters as we've got two cards for inspiration. Debra x
Good morning Sue and crafters all, Beautiful card today, just love all the snowflake dies, simple but striking!!!! Thank you Sue my Wednesday give away arrived yesterday lovely stamps. Well what a day yesterday!!! Peter and I got to the hospital for 9:00am as per his letter!!! When we arrived the staff nurse said your late! should have been here for 8:00 so was told that the letter said 9:00, anyway he had bloods taken and antibiotics given via IV. Went to Radiology to have what he thought was a Nephrectomy tube change as per the letter, it had been decided by the powers above to put on a stent, which meant a catheter told them NO, didn't want that , so they changed the tube. No ill effects ! so home for 12 o'clock. Pam glad you have settled back into routine. June Smith - well you will be ticking the days off all will be ok. Love and crafty hugs to all, Tina T xxxxx
Morning Sue, I love this snowflake card. I am saving the video for later as I have got a very busy day today. It will be just the thing for a quiet time with a nice cup of tea.
Morning Sue. This is a beautiful card. The big snow flake is gorgeous and the colours of the card stock is lovely. A very simple but elegant card. A great video again today but its different from the card on the blog but its not a problem as it just gives us more ideas to make some more beautiful cards. Best Wishes. Denise T x
Beautiful card, Sue, icy with cool colours! Lots of great tips, thank you for the video. Lorraine and Laine - hope you're both better soon. Laine and Fluffycat, yes to pets for therapy - always take a cat to see my friend, she had to give up hers to go into a nursing home (before I knew her) and it broke her heart, since when she's had a stroke and doesn't worry any more - so sad. Myra from Florida - good news about Emily, well wishes for a total recovery. Hugs to all.
Morning Sue the video is not the same as the pictures you have showing . None the less I enjoyed the video ,I like both the bold Snowflake Flurry & Snowflake Sparkle . My stamp set arrived Yesterday Thank you once again . Gloria (Sidcup) xx

ReplyDeleteHi Sue. What a beautiful snowflake card today !!! I will have to watch the video tomorrow as I am very tired right now and I will be able to concentrate better then. I have been watching John Lockwood doing live crafting demonstrations at my local craft shop for most of the day today and he was absolutely brilliant !!! Myself and my crafty friend Gloria Robey went together and we had a lovely day. I really love your snowflake die on this card. I think it is very sparkly and very pretty. I love the background embossing folder you have used to. Your "warmest wishes" die is lovely. I love the font and the sentiment is great. I think it is not just for Christmas but also for other occasions to. Thank you for sharing your beautiful card today. Sending lots of love to you Sue from Tres x x x
