Frames And Tags

Hi bloggers!  Onward to the Frames and Tags.  Up first is the Madeline die set which is a beautifully detailed die that has been designed with a sort of Victorian ribbon threader theme to it.  There is an area on the ends that can easily be used for threading ribbon through, or use the die without the outer cutting edge to just appreciate the intricacies of it, your choice.  Shown here, it looks lovely as the focal element for an anniversary card.  You can leave a comment on this post to be included in the drawing to win this one.  The next post has been scheduled for 3pm, so you don't have too long to wait.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Beautiful card Sue, love the dies you have used.

Your dies just keep getting better and better. I must get them all but I’m spoilt for choice so they are all going to the top of my MOST WANTED list, although I think the Background dies are my favourites. They can make a card all by themselves with little embellishment.

Enjoyed all the cards you have made from the new collection so far and can’t wait to see more.....

    Thank you, so much Sue,

    Pearl xx

Oooo this is a pretty card and i know just a lovely lady that is going to be 50 years married shortly, that's if George lasts that long and not been clobbered by her, lol. What a lovely lovely card and those wee heart borders just finish it off just lovely. Madeleine looks such a beautiful die and matches in with your art deco type alphabet just beautifully. It is now a case of which one/s do you get first?

  30. Hi Sue. Ooooh this card is just gorgeous !!! Your new Madeline die set looks amazing !!! I think you have added a really lovey feature to it by putting a little space in it top and bottom to thread ribbon through !!! Just something a little different, but WOW, the different looks you could create with it !!! Another fab, crafty idea bringing us such versatility !!! The pattern of this die reminds me of the Maggie die. Both dies are such a pretty design. Your new number dies look lovely and snug sitting inside the centre die which again, is just gorgeous Sue. 52. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

I'm feeling very smug right now because I'm managing to juggle all of my many chores with keeping up with the blog posts:-)
And why not you may ask since they should and are an absolute priority, it's a challenge that I am prepared to meet!
First can I show my support and approval of your choice of name for this beautiful die....Yvonne would have been so common and tacky....it is classy and sophisticated just like the die itself. I for one really adore the space for a ribbon to thread through, what a fab and innovative idea. And I can see that I'm not the first to be reminded of the gorgeous Maggie die either, it really compliments the Art Deco numbers too.
The card, where do you begin? It's stunning and incorporates many of your nicest dies from the launch beautifully.
Off to dry my hair before I pop out for my sunbed, going out in my scooter so thankfully the weather is dry and sunny at times...I crashed it into a wall the other day so here's hoping that I get back home in one piece, two infected knees from my last fall is more than adequate for my body to deal with methinks:-)
    See you later peepsxxx

what a beautiful anniversary card. My dad and his wife celebrate 40 years next year so thanks for the inspiration Sue. The top and bottom of the Madeline die on this card remind me of lyres. Love the heart borders all around and the colour scheme is beautiful.
