Frames And Tags

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's final post is showcasing the Frames and Tags category.  The Gillian die set is on offer this post and it is showcased here as a rosette in the centre of this card.  It is beautifully detailed and can be used in numerous ways to enhance your card making projects!  In keeping with the circular theme, it also looks lovely with the Double Pierced Circles too!  If you would like your name entered into this drawing, don't forget to leave a comment on this post!  That's it for today but we still have one final day of the blog launch to go.  I do hope that you can join us bright and early at 6am for the start of the final day!  All for now, Sue x

  67. Evening Sue
This is the first chance I have had to check out the blog today.
I love Gillian - small but perfectly formed and so intricate it will add a dazzling centrepiece or accent to any card.
I will be going back over the rest of todays cards in a while but have had a few visitors today which has been lovely but all I kept thinking was how long are you staying cos I really want to see what Sue has bestowed upon us x
Things were going quite well. Felt a little more energetic this morning when I got up (relatively speaking) and was just sorting myself out for my first peep at what was on offer for today when my first visitor turned up.
A friend I hadn't seen for a while - hubby had dropped her off whilst he went to get a new tyre for the car. She said he wouldn't be long so I wasn't too jittery knowing that I was going to have a short delay keeping me away from the beloved Particraft. She was right he was only gone about half an hour but on his return decided to have a cuppa himself.
An hour later - 12.15 to be precise, my visitors were still dipping rich tea into their second cuppa and I was aware that the second work of art was now on the blog and I had not seen the first of the day. 12.45 and they decided that they had things to do and although it was lovely to see them I will admit to feeling a tad jubilant as I knew as soon as I shut the door behind them I would be able to get my first daily fix of Sue The Genius Einstein Wilson.
As I waved them off a car pulled up and my friend Elaine got out asking if I was up to much???!!! I had been expecting her this afternoon but not until 3.30.
And that is when I could feel the withdrawal symptoms creeping up on me.
You cannot explain to someone who has no interest in or no desire to craft, how important it is to be able to indulge in the delights of a new launch. It would fall on deaf ears and have no impact whatsoever. I was very polite and smiled sweetly and clenched my fists to try and keep my frustration under control.
Imagine how I felt when there was another knock at the door and yet another visitor (uninvited and definitely not anticipated).
I am sure that my attempt at a welcoming smile was much more of a grimace but it seemed to go unnoticed.
I know, I know - I have said it so many times before that I am truly blessed to have the most wonderful friends but there are lines that should just not be crossed. I think I will need to take some time in the near future to explain to my friends that it is a Wilsonette's prerogative to be able to view Sue's blog at leisure without interruption.
It has been lovely to have a catch up but when I was finally left alone at 6.05pm the first thing I did was turn on the lap top to stop the cold turkey reaching a point of no return!!
I am now sitting with my feet up, a jacket potato in the oven and a quiet evening is ahead.
Please excuse my rant but if anyone can understand my thinking - it will be someone on this blog. Lol!
Tomorrow, sadly is the last day of the launch. It has been filled with surprises intrigue and pure delight and I cannot thank you enough Sue x
Happy thoughts and lots of love t you all.
I will try and be more subdued tomorrow and welcome any visitors with open arms but cannot promise.
    Crafty hugs

  135. Hiya again lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Wow! This card is a vision of intricate loveliness, the Gillian die is fantastically lacey like reminding me of my granny's doily....not many things in my granny's house were worth resurrecting least of all that knitted doll toilet roll cover but I will make an exception for this because you can't go wrong with a piece of elegant lace. I'm in love with the noble circles they provide the perfect frame for this beautiful die. I am looking forward to the day when this gorgeous card has it's day on the blog, it will go straight into my must do folder. Love the EF in the background too.
Yvonne, I've had a similarly frustrating day, I had plans to enjoy a quiet afternoon with Sue lesuirely perusing the blog launch....maybe even being the first to comment!......reading all the comments and passing the time in between watching her recent shows, ahhhhh:-)
But no, my brother and my nephew arrived sporting a bloodied nose, they had planned to go to the park with my mum but had to wait until his nose settled down again. Fine I thought, half an hour and they'll be on their way.....nope, it started snowing so they stayed for not one but two coffees:-( part of me feels mean but I found myself clock watching and thinking that's another post I've missed:-) by the time they left it was dinner time and my afternoon was in tatters, family should realise that all things Sue takes priority:-)
My 80yr old uncle is coming to stay next weekend, he's being brought by my cousin who is going for a mini break in the Highlands for his 50th birthday so my mum has requested that I make him a special card. What do you make for a trucker I ask myself, flowers and stick pins don't seem appropriate somehow. I wish I had the shadow box happy birthday die it would be perfect, I guess that I'll just have to think out of the box for myself instead:-)

  154. Hi Sue. Well I think this card is gorgeous Sue, and so is your new Gillian die !!! I love how you have made a beautiful rosette with the die. It is a very lacey, delicate looking die. It reminds me so much of the sort of Spirograph patterns I used to make as a child !!! It is very pretty. I love your new double pierced circle dies to. You have made beautiful frames with them on this card. I love the colours you have used. I am looking forward to seeing more of your fantastic creations tomorrow. Thank you Sue. 171. Hi Sue

Ooooooooh this was this one in the middle I really liked of the other die I really liked the other day!!! (I know what I mean) Just adore it, intricate, fiddly, geometric, foldable, snippable, stickable lushness... Another that is rocking my hypothetical boat in a big way. This has got my hyper excitement levels ramped up in a big way (and just before bedtime too), the possibilities are there to be dreamed of, reminds me a bit of lace crochet or those amazing cut paper wheel things (again, I know what I mean even if no one else does!)

Big hugs to you Sue, hope tomorrow is a restful day xxx

Pam, I got a notification regarding Robbie's latest part of his journey a couple of days ago and I'm delighted for him, I've yet to reply but will get to it asap. All of the family must be so proud of him, such a great young man, hugs to you and to Robbie xxx

My Zaphod Beeblebrox special dark glasses got their super dark, bendy prism new lenses in today and mmmmmmmmmm... Soooo nice on my eyes.... Aaaaah, sweet relief! Didn't get to craft store as I was feeling tired still from Thursday and decidedly migraine so we pitched up in the Starry Buck for coffee and carrot cake via a mobile phone shop to get a price list as I though my old faithful S3 was giving up the ghost. The screen wouldn't rotate and this is a vital function for me. Realised when I got home it was because I had accidentally hit the screen rotate widget off, probably when I called for a cab to get me home on Thursday. The screen was dark, my glasses were dark and the sun was oh so bright so I had fumbled til I found the screen brightness control so I could see to actually dial the thing. Silly, silly me! Juyst a good job that when it comes to tech, I don't make snap decisions (can't say the same for dies, stamps, pretty papers, yarn or fabric though lmao). Luckily the meds did their job today and tonight, touch wood all is as well as it gets :-) should mean after Billy has done his business (sure he's dreaming about eating at present... He's making chewing motions and slurping in his sleep) I can have a half hour reading before I go to sleep. Hoping dearly I can do any sort crafting tomorrow, don't care what it is, I'm getting withdrawn!

Didn't get a chance to read every comment today but sending special hugs and hellos to Tina E and family, Molly and family, Laine, Yvonne, Beth, Frances Fluffycat, Alison, Lynda (Billy sends his regards and a fluffy snuggle!), P, Theresa W, Marg, Tracy, Norah and Rory, txcowgirl and family, Lorraine F, June. If I forgot anyone, I'm sorry- If you are out there and need a hug I got an extra special one just for you. Wishing everyone on the blog a lovely day on Sunday. Hugs,

    T x

  184. Hi Sue,
Wow! This is gorgeous! My sister is called Gillian so I was intrigued to see what this was like, and I am definitely not disappointed. The first thing I thought of was Spirograph- this was one of my favourite toys of yesteryear.
I'm hoping that everyone is ok - I just can't keep up with so many comments to read ( sorry) - but I'm sending love, and cuddles to all my blog friends who need them, xx
