Hello again! We are off to Brussels and Antwerp with the dies in this post! This card showcases the Brussels die used without the outer cutting edge so it remains in the card background. The Brussels die is a bit larger so it is great for those of you that like larger cards, while the Antwerp is smaller and will work perfect with those works of art that are petite in size. Remember that the inner die shape is graduated among the three shaped dies in the collection too so they will give you matting and layering or easy framing with the inner dies. I do love the country collections as they remain a foundation for so many of my card styles. If you like these and want to be included in the drawing to win them, just post a comment on the blog. There are directions on the right hand side of my blog how to leave comments if you are unsure. I will be back here for today's final post at 6pm, hope to see you then! All for now, Sue x

Love and hugs, Brenda xxx
Good afternoon Sue,
ReplyDeleteBrussels is my favourite Sue as only my shoe size and height could be considered petite, the same with my cards as it is very rarely that i make a small delicate flower, more big and in your face like peony roses for me. Your designs are jus so exquisite in detail and like you your country launches of dies are always my favourites because of the inter mingling and mix and match that they can do giving so many varients for that special person. I wonder if my O.H. will get me a set of them for my 50th or whether it will be like every other year where he gets me nothing, well a girl can hope that a leopard can change his spots can't she.
Love and crafty hugs
Norah (Glenochil village)
Hi Sue
ReplyDeleteI feel like I keep falling in love over and over again. Just when I think you have exceeded any expectations you throw in another curve ball which is a complete masterpiece x
How on earth can we pick from such a collection of absolute delights which will once again take our card making to levels completely beyond our expectations?
You are without doubt the undisputed champion of inventiveness and let it be declared that from now on you shall be called Sue Einstein Wilson x
Your attention to detail and the intricacy of your dies is completely heart stoppingly overwhelming. The feelings I get when you bring us new dies is parallel to that of being able to hang my white washing on the line on a beautiful spring day - and those of you who know me know what pleasure that brings x
I am sorry if I am gushing but I just feel so happy to see what you have brought us this time and just wanted to try and go some way to letting you know that I think you are 'simply the best' x
Sun is still shining here but I am still trying to locate my get up and go - in between dozing and participating in this wonderful Suefest x
All for now - happy thoughts everyone
Be back at 6 Einstein - or sometime after
Crafty hugs

Good evening again lovely Sue and co.
ReplyDeleteWell, I for one am looking forward to this little creation having it's day on the blog, it's scrumptious, opulent and decadent, all that black and gold sings to me in only the way you know how:-) the gold background to the Brussels die really highlights it's intricacy and beauty, it's my favourite of the two......however, that often changes when I see your next creation with a different die, how fickle am I?
Hope that you're enjoying a well deserved day off though if you are reading the hundreds of comments from the launch that will keep you busy:-) I'm glad that they are being so well recieved, you deserve the success and accolades dear lady.
Time to check out the final instalment for today.......

I didn't know you could even make a die like that! They are both stunning and I love the card, I need to work out what that circular one is as I like that a lot too.
Choosing will be hard as they are all so wonderful, I Don't know how you do it Sue.
Eyes drooping now but i will get to that last post!

Susan
These are wonderful and the card is so elegant! xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Sue & lovely Wilsonettes*although I am more of a pastel person, this card is totally stunning Sue & the colours go so well together, you are giving me the courage to think outside the box & use colours I would never have thought of combining together for a card, in fact I should imagine that just one creation from you can inspire so many of us in so many different ways. I totally love the Belgian Brussels & Antwerp set, they are beautiful but it is the centre of the Brussels that has caught my eye first & foremost simply because of the entwined hearts in the centre, it is so regal yet beautifully delicate at the same time. Wow!!! Thank you Sue for sharing with us, you are truly appreciated beyond words. Love ‘n’ (((Hugs))) to you Sue, to my friends & to all lovely Wilsonettes Beth B x x x x x
