Hello Sue and all
ReplyDeleteI loved this card when I first watched the video on You tube and have taken inspiration from you and made it with the lynx gemini die and the CE Amazing Sentiment - some people come into our lives ...... One of my favourite cards that I have made to date. That is what I love about your dies, they can be interchanged for a different look and to make our "collections" go that much further.
Congratulations Sue on winning the last giveaway card for the year,

Beautiful card, likely subtle colouring.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Sue on your win
Lovely card and a great video as usual.

Good morning Sue
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and great video, I particularly liked the tip about taping the back of the die to stop it coming out when inking it. It happens all the time for me so thanks for the tip. As for the Gemini dies I adore them and until I watched one of your videos I tended to only use them for edges and cut outs only. That's the beauty of your dies they are so versatile and each set interchanges with each other, (you'd think you designed them that way lol!)
Congratulations Sue!
Hugs x

Hi Sue,
ReplyDeleteAs is your want, this card is very beautiful. I've used the Gemini dies (different ones) as a frame and they lend themselves to it admirably. The sentiment is certainly worth getting, is it from one of the CE range?
Colours are also lovely, overall verdict: GORGEOUS.

From AnnieB, Irchester, Northants,
Your Gemini dies are wonderful and you always consider the end user when designing the sets. Lots of options as to how the dies can work. I love being able to cut a solid backing for the intricate cut. Brilliant!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winner!!!!
Merry Christmas,
Jan D., Florida, USA
Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
ReplyDeleteThis is a truly beautiful example of your creative genius Sue. In colour and design this card says it all and looks it all. The soft lavender grey is so stylish and as a backdrop to the white die cuts it just says elegence to me. I have really enjoyed our sneaky extra videos Sue as they something lovely to look forward to even if hubby can't see why i can't get my cards done as quickly as you can. He misses the fact that a lot of work has went in beforehand so that the videos are of good length and not teaching us to suck eggs if you know what i mean. I introduced my friend Di to your site but she is shy so only comes in and looks on from the sidelines which a lot of us did before we plucked up the courage to comment, but i know that she likes your grungey sort of cards and distressed look ones where as i like clean crisp precision and delicateness but that is what makes us all special as we all like different things which is good as now and again it does encourage you to try something different from your safe zone that you build around yourself. Thank you Sue for yet another WOW as i really do appreciate all the work that you put in and the fun that you put in on our behave.
Sue, congratulations flower on winning this weeks stunner, enjoy it up in pride of place when it arrives.
Sending crafty hugs to all the Wilsonettes that need them, could be doing with them or just wanting one for no other reason than someone cares about them. Have a good day everyone
love and crafty hugs

Hello Sue.
ReplyDeleteLovely Card and very pretty colour. I think this is a great frame and a great way to use the Mini Gemini die though personally I prefer the version on the video to the stills on the blog, though this maybe because I think the Heraldic Square is one of my favourite dies. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations Sue MacFall.

Done lots of wrapping today but I still have all the stocking presents to do. My daughter does one for me so I have to do for hubby, daughter and son. I will be sad when daughter moves out and I guess that will be the end of stockings in my life :(
So many adjustments to make, so will savour her company whilst I can.
Ordered my husband's birthday present for February today, how organised is that :).
