Your card today Sue is gorgeous, I have never ever used the gilding technique, but sure I am going to give it a go. Somewhere in my craft stash I have a jar unopened.
ReplyDeleteThe sun has gone, we have heavy rain, but it sure does help me knuckle down to get some crafting done. I love the sunshine, love to be in my garden, sometimes, I craft on the patio table. Bit wet though today.
Happy crafting hugs to all.

Awesome card today. I now have the gilding flakes, acetate, and your vine embossing folder as well as the dies. So I can give this technique a try. Thanks ever so much for the video. Wishing all a great day.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue
ReplyDeleteLovely card. I have tried this with the gilding flakes and embossing folder and it worked just great.

This has a rich, classy and elegant feel and as such is a card you would expect to find in one of the high end shops. It just stunning.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue & all, not sure about this card. I love the dies and your heat embossing Sue is flawless, the guilding is gorgeous but not sure about the acetate. Sorry, I don't think it's something I'd use myself, I think it might be the plastic-ness. Now I feel awful, sorry, is it just me?
ReplyDeleteHope everyone has a pleasant eavening, blessings - Deb C xx
HI SUE
ReplyDeleteFAB WOW CARD. YOU HAVE LET THE GENIE OUT OF THE BOTTLE AGAIN. I BOUGHT 3 JARS OF FLAKES AND HID THEM HOPING I WOULD FORGET ABOUT THEM. NOW GOT THEM OUT AGAIN. BE ON EVERY CARD FOR WEEK OR SO. LOL.
THINK THE ADHESIVE SHEETS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER BOUGHT. NICE TO DIE CUT IT AND PUT FLAKES ON. LOOKS GREAT ON YOUR FINISHING TOUCHES DIES. I HAVENT BOUGHT ANY OF THESE BORDERS YET BUT CAN SEE HOW USEFUL THEY COULD BE.
LOVE THE VIDEO. GRAND CARD.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, gorgeous card and I loved it when you showed the embossed background to camera and it really flashed in the light which showed it off much better than the still photo's. I have gilded acetate before but have not embossed it afterwards, something that I must now try.

Hi Sue,
