Morning Sue
ReplyDeleteThis card is stunning, it is one of my favourites too. I hadn't realised it had a recessed aperture but having watched the video I now know it does. It was interesting to see how you assembled the stair stepping from the outside in, I would have made a total hash of it and started with the central die cut. So glad I watched the video before I attempted a similar card. Your embossing Tip was also really useful.
Thank you so much for all the help you give us.
I watched your great video, stunning card today! Love the combo of black and white with this gorgeous squares dies!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue
ReplyDeleteFabulous card. I love the black and White colour scheme. These gorgeous dies are really versatile. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteGood morning Sue
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and video, I was so lucky to have received this set of dies as a birthday present so I can attempt to make this card. I have been playing with them and love how they all work together. That was a great tip about leaving the die cut in the die to emboss because that is something I struggle with. I love the recessed aperture it makes a lovely change.
Hugs x

ReplyDeleteMORNING SUE
ReplyDeleteAn absolutely beautiful gift to start today. Monochrome always hits the spot with me and your new square dies look fantastic.
Today's gift has definitely got 'try me' written all over it and that's what I'm going to do. I just hope that my effort does your finished result justice.
Had the most frustrating day yesterday where everything just went wrong from misplacing my ruler (I know it's only a small thing but it really raised my blood pressure me)to cutting wrong dies. So hoping today is a better one.
To all under the weather hoping you feel better soon. To everyone take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.
