Hi Sue, As always Awesome Video that I will watch many times, I really love "The JustRite Floral Stamp Set" and it's great how you ruched the Ribbon either side of your stamped image, and those Fabulous Gilding Waxes they are brilliant on your project, I store mine in a A5 container when you open the lid they smell is divine if you like that sort of thing!!! It shows up on your background so well, and like you mentioned just the touch of Antique Linen Distress Ink which is great as it's not to heavy around the edges of your stamped images once they've been through the Grand Calibur, "Fantastic Card" as always Sue thanks for sharing and the wonderful Video's I know it must take up a lot of your time when your home but they are so much appreciated!!! love and hugs from Sam x Cameeli I don't know you but Good Luck For The 23rd!!!

Thank you for another great video, Sue, love the small details - subtle waxing on the background, colouring on the pyramage edges, lines on the black borders - all make it extra special. It's those touches that make your cards so unique.
'P' in Wales Steph - had a laugh at your Nissan card with the dogs - sounds inspired!

Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes, I have to agree that it definately has that art deco feel to it. I can see the garter homage and because of the colours it would not look out of place in that era. It's a lovely card Sue and the fact that the boys like it as well means that it one less we have to try and rack our brains at a mans' card, as they are notoriously difficult to make a card for. Cameeli fingers are still crossed for you as it is wonderful that you have been shortlisted. All your Wilsonette friends have their fingers and everything that we can crossed in making your dream come true. Well if i say my beloved hills have snow on them it will tell you what kind of weather Costa de Glenochil has today. Take care everyone and hopefully see you tomorrow. Love and crafty hugs Norah (Glenochil)
Hi Sue Pretty card today. Love the ruching. The gilding wax is very subtle and effective. Good luck to Cameeli for the 23rd. Off to watch the video before I take my car for big service & mot - think my craft buying will be on hold for a while! Love Alison xxx

Good afternoon Sue and everyone Sorry, I know I'll be in the minority but too much ruched ribbon for me. The rest of the card is lovely but the ruching doesn't do it for me, sorry. Hope you have managed to see your daughter whilst you've been in California. Best wishes. Ang x
Hi Sue, a really beautiful card.. and some fab techniques!! CHA is great, but I don't think you were given enough air time!!! That's my only gripe!!! When you were on though, you were great as ever!! Love Sam xxx

Maryann Laursen - Carmeeli hopes to get "the job of her dreams" and to be shortlisted means that she is one of the candidates to be selected for another (probably final) interview. We all wish her well. Maryann, is that you in the cameo photo??!!
Hello Sue!! It was so nice to finally meet you in person at CHA!! This is another gorgeous card, great video and instructions!! Have a great time with your daughter and a safe flight home. Hugs!!
Hi Sue, Just love this card so much. Don't think I could get the stamp to match up but still 2 watch video and hopefully you explain an easy way. Hugs CraftyJacq X
Hello Mrs W. Hi there beautiful Wilsonettes. High 5 Cameeli Id like to cross my fingers but I cant, they are too short and dont work too good which is WHY I just have to try rouching that ribbon, if nothing else it will make me laugh just watching my stupid fingers trying to keep the ribbon AND and red liner tape in line ! Maybe I should make a comedy video of me attempting to rouche : ) I adore that stamp set and I treated myself to the Peacock Feathers guilding wax today. I also bought a pot of mica powder and its even prettier than everyone says - I just want to blooming well use it, and I will once I've got these 'crazy' driving test cards out the way ! Is it to much to ask to get back to making my 'usual' nice cards and use 'normal' craft goodies, and I HAVE HAVE to start the Valentine cards ready for the market/craft fair ! Mind you, a good night sleep is required as these weird cards are keeping me awake at night - If I see another Micra I may just cry : ) Or ask for therapy, I need proper craft therapy, the ONLY way to get that is to watch our Sue again and again and sooo much beauty to chose from, thank you Sue. Im done. Off for therapy. Love you all. Lancashire Steph xxx
Thanks Sue for the lovely informative Video, they are very much appreciated. I have some strips of assorted coloured metallic rub-ons I have had for a few years, and hope I will get a similar effect to the gilding waxes. Edwina
Hi Sue! Art deco is a mighty fine way to describe this card. It is gorgeous...love it! Thank you for the tips of the stamping, inking and cutting out with the dies. Those flower stamps are stunning. Also, (yet again), the reminder of the ruching of the ribbon. Strangely on Sunday I found this on one of the cards that I saved from a card class that I used to go to. I had forgotten how nice it looked. Thank you Sue for your inspiration and yet another stunning card xx Love Karen xx Wonderful for the one's who were racing for the credit cards to buy the bundles and good luck to you Cameeli on the 23rd Jan! Go girl! xx

Good afternoon Sue and everyone
ReplyDeleteSorry, I know I'll be in the minority but too much ruched ribbon for me. The rest of the card is lovely but the ruching doesn't do it for me, sorry.
Hope you have managed to see your daughter whilst you've been in California.
Best wishes.

Beautiful ruching, a really gorgeous card. Pat x
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, a really beautiful card.. and some fab techniques!!

ReplyDeleteHello Mrs W. Maybe I should make a comedy video of me attempting to rouche : )
ReplyDeleteI adore that stamp set and I treated myself to the Peacock Feathers guilding wax today.

Thanks Sue for the lovely informative Video, they are very much appreciated. I have some strips of assorted coloured metallic rub-ons I have had for a few years, and hope I will get a similar effect to the gilding waxes. Edwina
ReplyDeleteHi Sue! Go girl! xx
