Hello all! Another example of my Fire and Ice Technique here. I started with a piece of black card and covered it with a sticky adhesive sheet. I die cut two of Beeca Feeken's Lacey Tier dies in black card and cut them in half with my papercutter. I peeled the backing paper off of my sticky sheet, exposing the adhesive sheet. I attached each of the halves of my die cuts to the four side edges. I used the waxy side of the backing paper to burnish each of the die cuts down firmly. I covered the remainder of the sticky sheet with the Summer Meadow gilding flakes. Next I covered the entire background with another sheet of sticky adhesive. I peeled back the backing paper and covered the entire piece with Cosmic Shimmer Iced Snow. I used a piece of Rubit Scrubit pad to refine the Iced snow and remove any excess. I matted it with a thin white layer and a wider black mat. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Delightful Circles die. I cut a black mat layer from the Delicate Doily set to give it a bit a of a lacy backdrop. I added some flat back pearls to the sentiment and the card corners. A double white pierced mat finished it off. Finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
