Hi crafty friends! I found this lone hold out from the Labels 20 shows last year. I have been trying to organise my pictures and I keep finding card pics in random folders. I started my using the Harlequin Background stamp from Justrite to create my backing paper. I stamped it using Scattered Straw distress ink. Originally, I was thinking a guy card so I made the background a bit distressed looking by spritzing it with water after I stamped it. However, as it progressed, I ended up adding lace and a bow so no more guy card! It ended up being sort of middle of the road, not really girlie, not really guyish, but I liked it okay regardless. I added a piece of black duchess lace to the side. Using the largest size of Labels 20, I cut one in black as my foundation for my focal element. Next I cut two of the Parisian Motifs in a cardstock matching my background. I overlapped them just enough so that they were peeking out from behind the layer on top of them. I stamped the Justrite stamp from the Kindness set in black archival ink on to milk card and cut it out with the matching die. Next I stamped the smaller stamp from the set, cut it out and layered it on top. I stamped the sentiment in the centre and added black labels 20 nestabling to the edge of the die. I tied a double bow out of silky crush ribbon, adding a fancy button and two stick pins to complete my bow embellishment. I pierced the edges and added a black rhinestone swirl to complete the card. I don't have the exact dimensions on this one, but it is around 7" x 8" in size (pictures were taken last year before I started using rulers to photograph my cards).
Don't forget to check the blog tomorrow as I have 12 winners names to be drawn and posted in the weekly Comment Game! All for now, Sue x

A lovely card Sue, very girle, nice to see the ribbon back, seems to signify a 'Sue Wilson' card, that and a pierced edge. I have tried to master the piercing thing but i struggle to get the holes looking uniform, some end up looking bigger than others, even though I use a Tim Holtz piercing tool, any tips!
