Good Sunday morning all! Another style of thank you card today. Yes, I love the swirly style of this sentiment so I found myself picking it up constantly to use. I started with a long style piece of decorative paper. I added a pale grey mat to it and created the base for my card. Next I cut out two of the large Vintage Label and Banner die. I embossed them both with the Floral embossing folder while they were still in the die (remember to keep the folder open for this). I placed them on the left side of the card in mirror image position and taped them into place. Next I stamped three of the medallion from the Always and Forever set from Justrite. Two of them were stamped with a clear perfect medium on rose coloured card and clear embossed for a tone on tone look. The other one was stamped with a black ink pad on rose card. I used a small matching circle nestie to cut the centres out of all of them. I stamped my sentiment on a strip of blush coloured card and cut the end into forks and tapered the other end to fit through my medallions in a buckle style. The medallions were then arranged so that I could go in and out through the centres and they were held together by my sentiment banner. I put some mounting foam on the back and attached them to my card. I tied a double bow with some black satin and added a pink Dazzler to the centre. Two black stick pins finished off my bow and gave it a nice accent. I added some black rhinestone swirls to the decorative background paper around my sentiment banner to give the card an overall bling accent. Finished dimensions are 6" x 9 3/4" in size.
I can't believe it is already Sunday again, but I have some winners for you. This weeks Comment Game Winners are:

Really unusual card today, Sue, love the colourway and the layout.
ReplyDeleteWish Justrite (or any stamp company) would do a whole set of 'simple' phrases in that gorgeous swirly script eg Happy Birthday, Get Well, Best Wishes etc. Don't always want long flowery sentiments.

ReplyDeleteNow you know that I am not, unlike yourself, a lover of black on cards but you know I quite like this one! LOL! I love the design.
I have enjoyed the C & C spellbinder programmes with the new dies but have to say there is no one who presents them with such expertise as yourself. I do so hope you are going to be back on our screens with us again soon as I miss seeing you, even though I feel it will hit my pocket when I do as it will mean you have more new dies for us!LOL!
Congratulations to the winners today enjoy your gift!
