Shaving Foam Tutorial
I have finally gotten around to writing the tutorial I promised last week.
what an amazing effect. Time to raid my husbands shaving foam. Hope he won't notice. Does it matter what type of shaving foam it is? He uses a sensitive one. Hope you had a good Christmas. Mine was a spellbinding one. I only asked for spellbinders, and I got loads. Alyson xx

Hi Sue your shaving cream demo is great one lady asked what cream was used when Iused to do it on T shirts I used very basic foam and as I am a decorative painter I would then use it as a background to paint designs on it. If using it on T shirts place a suitable sized strong card in a polythene bag to place inside the t shirt then just follow sues' instructions
I never ceased to be amazed at your beautiful cards, Sue. I am collecting spellbinders and this will be a wonderful background to add to my cards. What would I do without Sue Wilson and my Spellbinders.

Absolutely gorgeous, my cousin has been raving about this for ages, but i had managed to miss it, even though my eyes are glued to C&C, i did see it yesterday and i was gobsmacked. Inspirational!!! I dont think the rest of us "play" enough.

I missed the C&C demo this tutorial makes the method clear. Do you have to use alcohol inks or is there something else that can be used instead please?

Just had a lovely time with shaving foam, paint, mica and sprays. Thank you so much for sharing this technique,Sue. Only thing is, I couldn't remember what ink you used, so I improvised. I also made a bit of a mess, not neat like yours. Such fun 'tho.

Where is the "SUE" to answer all these questions? They started asking them, what, like it was a year and half ago? Did she never answer? I am addicted to inks, never wanted to try this method, though. looks nice. I wonder who thunk it up to begin with? Shaving Cream? I have been experimenting on my own for about 9 months, and this never popped in my head, Even after I saw youtube tutorials on it. So, I can assume my questions won't get answered either. oh well, have a nice day. THINK INK?

Your videos are so thorough, however this print tutorial has so much left out, like the others, did you use food coloring? thinned down acrylic paint? The paper almost looked like a watercolor paper in the one picture. Absolutely love your video tutorials but this one has to much guessing to what materials you have used to be of much use at all. Would love to see a list of supplies used, I am imaginative enough knowing that to guess how it was done.

Hi Sue Oh I love this technique and I haven't used it in a while and its such fun.....think I will have a play this afternoon as raining here. Great card.
Tried this yesterday but the ink came awy mostly when wiped off (I used acrylic ink, brushos and pergamano ink -did not use alcohol ink this time).Not sure if it was the card I used (a coated card, not gloss) or if I will have to go back to alcohol ink. I heard that acrylics don't go 'muddy' which is why I tried them. What card do you suggest please? janetannc
