Hi bloggers! Today's card was started by cutting the Birthday Shadow box die in white. I added mounting foam to the back of it and attached a piece of the blue and white dotty paper from the Dots 'n Stripes Paper Pad. For the largest section, I cut the table and rocking chair from the Living Room die set. I cut the chair in both tan and sage green card and paper pieced the chair part of it onto the tan die cut. I cut the table in brown and added the candle to it. From the same set, I cut the clock, mug, books and floor lamp and added them to the various sections. I used Happy Wishes cut in blue and black. I shadowed it and glued it in to the section above the chair. I cut a white frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles and added it with mounting foam. I cut the sleeping cat in rust and added him to the bottom of the frame. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 1/2" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sue and all that visit today. Ohh what a lovely card .... And in my opinion I think this would be perfect for a retirement card. Just imagine sitting there in that lovely chair with a nice cup of tea ☕ (or your favourite afternoon tipple 😂) and a good book .... After all those years of hard work. Hmmm just lovely as all your cards are. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone. Please stay safe and well 🙏. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds
