From The Heart
Hello bloggers! I began this clean and simple card by cutting three of the Heart Wreath dies out of black. I cut a wide strip of Ruby Red card and glued the three black hearts to it. I cut the Heart Wreath again out of white card and I used the fall away pieces from the white dies cuts to paper piece them back into the black dies. I matted the red strip with black card and added it to a larger piece of white card. I used the Postage Stamp dies to cut a thin mat in red. I cut the From The Heart sentiment and glued it to the red piece and added it with mounting foam to the bottom of the card. I added some hearts cut out of white gloss card around the sentiment. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x 10 3/4" in size. All for now, Sue x

Super card, Sue. Paper piecing all those little white hearts was a real labour of love, but worth all the time it took.

ReplyDeleteMorning all
ReplyDeleteThe patience required for paper piecing is admirable but the results are fabulous. Gorgeous card - change the colour and the ‘mood’ of the card would be so different.
Happy Friday x
