Merry Christmas

Hi there my crafty friends!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Falling Snow embossing folder.  Next, I cut the Holly Ribbon Wave Border with a piece of black card on top of a piece of white card.  I glued the black die cut on top of the white embossed copy, then I cut the die again in green and used the fall away pieces and paper pieced them back into the design.  I did it again in red and used those fall away pieces and paper pieced them back into the design.  I glued the border across the card.  Using the Stylish Poinsettia, I made a red glittered poinsettia and added it to the left just above the border with two green leaves and accents.  I cut the Noble Merry Christmas sentiment in red and glued it to the top of the card.  The card was completed with white and red mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  7"  in size.

  6. Hi Sue. What a lovely card in traditional Christmas colours. I do love the effect of paper piecing but I am not sure that my hands or eyesight would allow me to do it with this die and all the little pieces.

  14. Hi Sue, a gorgeous card, I love it. Not sure if I have the patience or the fingers to paper piece all those tiny pieces but it is certainly worth the effort.
