May Your Days Be Merry & Bright
Hello there my crafty friends! I started this card by cutting a frame using the Double Stitched Squares. I cut a thin white frame and attached a piece of white card to it with mounting foam. I added the frame to the middle of a piece of white card. Using the Yuletide Welcome die set, I cut a red door and added a green wreath with a red bow to it. I cut two topiary trees and added them to black gloss pots. I used the pine spray to add a scalloped spray across the top of the frame. I added red poinsettias to each of the join areas. I cut the sled in red and propped it up against the frame. I cut the May Your Days Be Merry & Bright sentiment out of both red and black card. I shadowed the red die cut with the black one and then glued it to a white shadow backing piece. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 1/2" in size.
Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh I do like this sample, it is a great way of using up our scrapes of coloured card pieces to make the little additions, fabulous card, thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sue and all that visit today. A very lovely traditional Christmas card. And the sentiment is just right for the card. I have finally made a start on my cards for my line dance ladies. I make them all the same ... then there is no deciding who gets what. Thankyou Sue for all your inspiration. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds.
