Just Because

Hello there my crafty friends!  I started today's card with a piece of white card.  I used the ball of yarn stamp from the Pet Pal Stamp set and randomly stamped it all over the edges of the card.   I used a clear perfect medium pad and then embossed the stamped images with white detail embossing powder.  I used Spun Sugar distress ink and sponged it around the edges of the stamped card.  I used the Double Stitched Squares and made a thin white frame.  I added mounting foam to the back of the frame and attached it to a piece of pink and white striped paper from the Dots 'N Stipes Paper pad.  I cut Pet Pal Bella  in white.  I used a fine tipped marker to add the face details and cut an envelope in white and added a pink heart and put it in her mouth.  I added a pink rose and leaves to her tail and cut the kitty bowl in pink and added it next to her in the frame.  I cut the Just Because sentiment out of powder pink and black, shadowed it then added it to a small backing piece which I cut from the Double Stitched Rectangles.  I inked it lightly and added some pink hearts around the sentiment for accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  7 3/4" in size.
