Tis The Season

Hello crafters!  I used the Brick Wall embossing folder to emboss a piece of white card.  I used some Gather Twigs Distress ink and lightly sponged the top of the embossed card.  Using the Cosy Fireside Christmas die set, I cut the fireplace out of slate grey card.  I added a black mantle piece and cover the inside of the fireplace with black card as  well.  I cut the fire die out of white and coloured it with markers then added it to the fireplace.  I cut three red stockings and added white tops to them, then used Fluffy Stuff on the tops and heated it for a furry look and attched them across the fireplace.  Next I cut the Tree and added gold ornaments with a paint pen.  I cut small three pressies to go under the tree and added a larger pile to the left of the fireplace.  I cut the wreath from the set in green and added a red bow to it.  The Tis The Season sentiment was cut in red and shadowed in black, then glued it above the wreath.  I used the swag die and cut it six times in green and glued it across the top of the card, then added red bows at each of the connecting point.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 1/4"  x  7 3/4" in size.

All for now, Sue x
