Tis The Season

Hi bloggers!  I started this card by cutting the Poinsettia Ribbon Wave die in black.  I glued it to a piece of acetate, then applied glue to the back of it where the poinsettias were.  I sprinkled Fire Red Polished silk glitter on it, then tapped off the excess.  I did the same thing for the leaves and coated them with Hunter Green glitter and tapped off the excess.  I set it aside to dry over night.  I cut the outer die from the set in re and glued the decorative edge to pieces of white card that I cut with the die to get the same shape.  I added mounting foam to the backs of the two white pieces, then glued the Poinsettia Ribbon Wave die to another piece of white card and attached the two white piece around it so that the wave die was recessed between them.  I cut the Snowflake Sparkle die in red and used it as a base.  I cut the rest of the die in white and glued it to the red backing piece.  I added it below the wave die.  I cut a small poinsettia using the Stylish Poinsettia set and glittered it in red.  I added it to the top of the Snowflake Sparkle die with two green leaves as accents.  The Tis The Season sentiment was cut in black and glued to the inside of the snowflake Sparkle die cut.  The card was completed with white, red and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  9"  in size.

 All for now, Sue x
