Tis The Season
Hi there my crafty friends! I selected a piece of cobalt blue card. I used the snowflakes from the Santa Stamp set and inked them with a clear perfect medium pad. I randomly stamped them all over the background, then used white embossing powder and heated it until the powder melted. Using the Double Stitched Squares, I made a white frame and added mounting foam on the back of it. I added the frame over the background. I cut the Crystal Kaleidoscope die in white and glittered it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz. I added it to the backing piece which I also cut in white. I cut a blue circle and added it to the die. I cut the Tis The Season die in white and glue it to the blue circle. I added the die to the centre of the frame with mounting foam. The card was completed with white and cobalt blue mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size.
Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, this is such a pretty card, the rosette snowflakes in the middle look fabulous in the close up photo, going to add to my list.

Hi Sue. What a fabulous combination today - snowflakes and sparkle. How nice to see the appearance of stamping and heat embossing which is where I began in my paper crafting journey.
Hi Sue, a lovely card and a reminder that I haven't done any heat embossing for probably years. I have pots of powders so maybe I should have a play day and create some backgrounds as you have done.
