Sincere Thanks

Good Sunday morning all!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Rose Bed embossing folder.  I lightly inked around the edges with Shaded Lilac distress ink.  I sprayed it with spray glue then dusted it with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz for a bit of bling.  Next I cut the Layered Garden Rose out of mauve and soft lavender card.  I inked the base flowers with Shaded Lilac and Seedless Preserves Distress inks.  I assembled the two large flowers and the bud, then cut the leaves and stems in two shades of green card.  I assembled the flowers and stems and added them to the card.  I cut the Sincere Thanks sentiment in black and added it to a white shadow backing die and attached it below the rose.   I used some clear water crystals added to the background randomly as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/2"  in size.

All for now, Sue x

  5. Morning Sue. I do like these relatively clean and simple cards because you can really see the beauty of the die cut flowers and I like how realistic these roses look without the dimension.

  19. Good evening Sue, happy Easter to you and all your followers. Beautiful card! I have spent a lovely day crafting with my grandson’s girlfriend. She had never heard of dies or die cutting machines so think I have her hooked now, especially when she saw the bixes and bixes of your dies that I have. Love Jean xxx
