Sending Love & Hugs

Hello crafters!  I selected a piece of white card and embossed it with the Tidal Sands embossing folder.  Next I cut a thin white frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles.  I cut the width down on the frame and reassembled it to fit my space.  I added it with mounting foam to the left side of the card.  Using the Layered Coneflowers, I cut six of the flower heads in two shades of yellow.  I assembled the flowers and added them to the stems and arranged them inside the frame.  I cut the Sending Love & Hugs out of brown card and glued it to the right side of the card.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.

All for now, Sue x

  1. Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, another stunningly beautiful card today, love the embossing in the background and it is a perfect base for the frame and Coneflower, I had never heard of that flower until your release and it certainly deserves it's day on the blog. Thank you xx

  7. Hi Sue. Love the way you have put the coneflowers in their own frame which makes them stand out against the background and the sentiment. Stunning card, thank you.

Beautiful post - the coneflower are one of my favourites from this collection and sit perfectly against the white background…

  9. Good Morning Sue and all that visit this morning.
This morning's card is so beautiful Sue. And can I say ... If any other element had been used I think it could have been spoiled. Sometimes some cards have less on for them to look beautiful. I feel so lucky that I can recreate this as this is one of the sets I won on the launch. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Please stay safe and well 🙏.
