Have A Joyful Christmas

Hello my crafty friends!  I cut the outer die from the Stained Glass Bells in white and backed it in white.  I cut the die two more times, once in red and once in green.  I used the fall away pieces and paper pieced them back into place in the diecut.  Using the Classic Poinsettia, I made two flowers and attached them to the left side of the die.  I cut the Have A Joyful Christmas in antique gold card and I shadowed it with gold mirror card.  I added the die cut to a larger piec of white card and ran double sided tape all the way around the edges, then sprinkled Frosted Sparkle Gitterbitz over it.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/2"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  5. Good morning Sue, fabulous card. I have used all the stained glass dies released this year for cards to give to close friends and family and have really enjoyed making them using different techniques that you have shown us. Like June I am determined to start much earlier in 2024 though

  11. This is an absolutely beautiful Christmas card. I love poinsettias at Christmas. I have so many of SW poinsettia dies and I have made & sent my Christmas cards this year but I really want to duplicate this card. So much my taste in cards for the holiday.

  17. Hi Sue. I do apologise that I forgot to comment on this post yesterday. Unfortunately, I am a director on the estate where I live and this has almost become an unpaid full time job.

What a wonderful card this is. I do admire all your cards with paper piecing but they are a bit too fiddly for me with my arthritic fingers these days. If I do make the effort, the recipient would have to be a very special person.
