Happy Christmas

Hello crafters!  I grabbed a pretty pixied piece from my background stash to use for today's card.  I used Aqua Lagoon and Teal Wash Pixie Powders to create the piece.  I cut a piece of white card then cut the pixied card on the diagonal and taped the two together.  I cut the Bubble Tree-O out of the leftover pixied card.  I added backing pieces to the trees that were cut out of the Silver Sparkle card.  I added the two trees with mounting foam on to the white part of the background.  I cut the Happy Chritmas sentiment out of both Silver Sparkle card and black card.  I used the black die cut as a shadow behind the silver die cut then glued it to the pixied card.  I added several clear water crystals as accents to the background.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are ???? in szie.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a beautiful creation this morning, love the aqua colours and the trees look amazing, I have never put a black background offset behind a silver sentiment myself I think I will try that it looks perfect for this card.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  9. Hi Sue. I have made lots of cards with these dies this year. They are so easy to use and because of the contemporary design you can use all sorts of non-traditional colours which is quite exciting.

  11. Good Morning Sue and all that visit this morning
Ohhh my God. I wish you had brought us this one before I made all my cards for my line dance ladies. It looks clean ... fresh and not too complicated to put together. But mostly it sends the message of Christmas. But not to worry. I will save this for Christmas 2024. I make 70 cards for my ladies ... We have two classes and they all get one. So I have to start early. Thankyou Sue.
Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today. Kind regards Ann Toppcards in Leeds. Please stay safe and well 🙏

  15. Hi Sue, I really like this contemporary CAS card and will be saving it for inspiration next year, thank you.

Pat L - hope all is well after your husband's falls, I know only too well the scare that it gives you. I haven't made as many cards as usual this year but I do find crafting helps me switch off for a while and I hope you can get back to making some cards soon.
