Season's Greetings

Hello crafters!  I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Falling Snow embossing folder.  Next I cut the Ornate Adornment Border twice out of white card.  I backed both of them with Cobalt Blue card.  I added mounting foam to the back of both borders then added them to the top and bottom edges of the card.  I cut the Noble Season's Greetings out of Silver Sparkle card and shadowed them with an offset black die cut.  I glued it to the middle of the embossed background.  Using the Classic Poinsettia dies, I made two Poinsettias cut out of silver sparkle card and added them in opposite corners around the sentiment .  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  6. Hello Sue. What a lovely way to use those borders and although the card doesn't scream Christmas, by adding the poinsettias it gives a nod to the season.

Also late in the day but love this one - though I'd probably use a dark green or red as the backdrop...
