Peace On Earth
Hello bloggers! I pulled out the gilding flakes for today's card. I covered a piece of card with a sticky adhesive sheet. I peeled the backing paper off and sprinkled on some Copper Teal Gilding Flakes. I used a piece of Rubit Scrubit pad to move the flakes around the card, then to refine and remove the excess flakes. I matted the piece with some gold mirror card then added it to a piece of milk card. I used the Poinsettia Banner die and cut it out of milk card. I added the poinsettia cut out of gold mirror card to the underneath side of the die. I cut the scrolls out of antique gold card and glued both of them to the die cut. I stamped the Peace On Earth sentiment in black and cut it out with the banner die from the set and glued it behind the banner in the die cut. I attached the piece to the centre of the card with mounting foam. The card was completed with milk mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 7 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
