Stained Glass Maple Leaves
Hello there my crafty friends! Welcome to the October Die Release Blog Launch. We have fifteen dies in this release that we will be showcasing this week. We will be giving away a complete set of the dies to one lucky winner as always. I will do a drawing based on the comments left on the blog during the launch. I will announce the winner on the morning of Oct. 31st. Please be sure to sign your comments in such a way that it will be unique to yourself, add an initial, a surname or the town or city where you live, just someway that you are the only one signing your comments that way.
I am starting off with one of my personal favourites, introducing the Stained Glass Maple Leaves. This set has six dies in it. There are three sections and each has it's own cutting edge so you can easily use them to cut out or to cut into the card. If this one is calling your name, then just add your comment to the bottom of this post. I will be back here at noon with the next offering. All for now, Sue x

Good morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh wow I wasn't expecting that this morning, a new release, and yes I am loving the stained glass Leaves, can you imagine this with that liquid gloss colours inside the veins of the leaves, that may have been how you did this sample, beautiful colour choices. What a fab set to add to the stained glass collection. Definitely very Autumnal but can see this used (especially with the leave cut out) with and stamps or dies that have a wildlife feel....Beautiful post and looking forward to what will no doubt be another stunning launch...

Hi Sue, a beautiful start to the launch. I love maple trees and all the different colours in them and your sample shows this perfectly. After the high winds so many leaves are now lying on the ground and with the frost it really feels like Autumn so it is just the right time for this launch.
What a perfect beginning to October's launch. A beautiful fall die for paper piecing or coloring in with assorted media. Love it. Hope all are well today, Stephanie K

Hi Sue, once again your posts aren't coming through to my pc so I'm playing catchup. I have to say that I was blown away by this first die set. My late father was Canadian so this reminds me of him (I have a maple leaf tattoo in his memory). I'm looking forward to reading all the posts I've missed so far with this launch. Bejay in Truro xx
