Happy Anniversary

Hello bloggers!  I selected a piece of pixied card made with Midnight Blue Pixie Powder.  I cut the Loving Heart Frame center dies first.  I cut two of the larger squares and one of the smaller squares.  I overlapped them and wove a long strip of white card through them and taped it in place from the back.  I attached it to the centre of the card.  I cut the heart frame from the set and nipped it into a couple of pieces and added them to the top and bottom area of the previously attached squares.  I cut the small frame from the set into four pieces and attached them to the corners of the card.  Next I cut the Happy Anniversary sentiment in black and added it on to a white backing piece.  I added it to the centre of the card.  The card was completed with white and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/2"  x  9"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

Sorry but unlike the other comments, I’m not sure today. Love the elements and background but it doesn’t gel for me and can’t tell you why…

  12. Hi Sue. So nice to see the reappearance of the buckle card and I love the way the altered heart frame sits so nicely at the top and the bottom. Who wouldn't be pleased to receive a card such as this.

  21. Hi Sue, a very nice card indeed. The Midnight Blue seems a little strong for me, maybe a slightly lighter shade would suit. We know photographs don't always tell the full story so in real life it probably looks differently.
