Birthday Wishes
Good Sunday morning all! I cut the Art Deco Oval Frame out of gold mirror card. I covered a piece of card with a sticky adhesive sheet then peeled the backing paper off and coated it with Spiced Honey Gilding Flakes. I used a piece of Rubitscrubit pad to move the flakes around and remove the excess flakes. I added the die on top of the gilded flakes and trimmed it even with the edges. I cut the smaller rectangle die inside the larger frame out of gold mirror card. I repeated the same thing with a smaller piece of card and added the gilding flakes to it. I added mounting foam to the back of the middle die to raise it and added it to the centre of the frame. I cut the centre oval in white and added it to the middle of the card. I cut the Birthday Wishes sentiment in black and glued it across the white oval. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 5 3/4" x 7" in size. Here we are again, my favourite time of day apart from bedtime, and a special new design with Art Deco inspiration. It could be that I log in on my phone rather than laptop etc but until I look at the still photos the mirror card doesn't stand out, when I enlarge the photos WOW its perfect beauty, it's what you enthralled us with last week, sheer beauty. I hope today is a good day for all that pop in and comment today xxx

Hi Sue, a very stylish card that is suitable for almost any age and gender. I don't think I have seen the Spiced Honey Gilding Flakes before, they are a beautiful mix.

Hi Sue. Not too sure about this one. It may be because of the way it comes across on my laptop as the die cut doesn't stand out very well against the background which gives quite a confused result. The design of the card is good though - sorry.
