Hello there my crafty friends! I selected a piece of pixied card from my background stash. The background was created by using Midnight Blue Pixie Powders on a piece of white gloss card then covering it with a piece of scrunched up cling film and setting it aside to dry overnight. I cut four of the Bat and Web Border in black. I glued them to the edges of the pixied background and over lapped them in the corners and cut them on the diagonal at each corner. I cut the Trick Or Treat sentiment in white and glued it to the centre. I added the entire piece to a larger piece of black card and ran double sided tape around the edges. I coated the edges with Black Onyx Glitterbitz. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x 7 3/4" in size. All for now Sue x
Oh wowser Sue I love the creepy simplicity of today's inspiration the text and font is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteFor those that have followed Sue for the past 11 years plus the blog was also a place we met Nick frequently and on Create and Craft, we did a bit of fund raising for his group in Romania remember? Well for those that do remember those days, it was announced yesterday that he'd reached craft heaven after being quite poorly for some months. So rest well Nick xx
Love to all that visit today hope you have a nice day xxx

Hi Sue, I must apologise for failing to leave a comment yesterday. I loved Mr Frosty with all the sparkle from the polished silk glitter, gorgeous. Today's dark and brooding card is a total contrast but equally clever and I have a spider catcher for those in need :-)
ReplyDeleteSteph - thanks for letting us know about Nick, I remember him well and the work he was doing with the locals, I am sure he will be much missed.
