Best Wishes

Hello crafters!  I started today's card by embossing a piece of antique gold card with the Rose Bed Embossing folder.  I used Clear Texture paste and spread it across the card, using a piece of plastic to spread it thin just mainly into the crevices of the embossed pattern.  I sprinkled clear Micro beads across it and used the plastic to remove all except the ones in the embossed lines.  I cut the Loving Heart Frame twice out of white card.  I added them in a square orientation and a diamond orientation so they were crisscrossed.  I cut the centre die from the set in both gold an black.  I used the black one as an offset shadow behind the gold die cut, then glued it to the inside of the frame.  I cut the Best Wishes sentiment out of black card and glued it to the inside of the frame.  I cut the centre die again out of gold and black card.  I shadowed it then nipped it apart into four sections that I added to each of the corners.  The card was completed with white, black and antique gold card mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  4. Hi Sue and all that unlock the door to inspiration, welcome home Marion, so many stunning pieces of inspiration for you to love.
This is like taking a walk into the past, it was this kind of design that we loved when your new frames were released, the start of frame making for card frontages, seems a million years away but sometimes the older designs hold the happiest of memories.
Thank you June and everyone for your best wishes, every day is a new day, I'm a lot healthier than some so I have that to be extremely thankful for.
Sending love and caring hugs to all that visit today xxx

  15. Hi Sue. Love how you have created the background today, using the micro beads to knock the gold colour back a bit. It really is worth all the effort and makes a classy looking card.
