Hark The Herald Angels Sing

Good Sunday morning all!  I selected a piece of pixied card from my background stash to use for today's background.  It was created by using Teal Marine, Aqua Lagoon and Rich Gold Pixie Powders.  I used the Stained Glass Rectangles and cut it into the background.  Next I cut the Christmas Angel 2023 in white and milk card.  I used the milk card as the base and coloured the angel's hair with a yellow pencil and her skin with Antique Linen.  I cut the dress out of the white die cut and glued it on, then added the details cut out of antique Gold card.  I cut the wings in white and glued them onto the angel, then added her to the card with mounting foam.  I cut the Hark The Herald sentiment in both antique gold and black card.  I shadowed it with the black die cut then glued it in the upper corner of the background.  I added several clear watwr crystals around the background randomly as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Hi Sue.
There will be more that love this inspiring piece of work than those like myself that have never been a lover or believer in angels.
I'm a real lover of your choice of colours for your gorgeous background ideal for the Angel to rest on, but I'm afraid I reduce the size to a lovely 6x6 add this stunning background and add your lovely large Noble festive greeting as a CAS card. As I said there's probably another 3 blog friends that aren't into angels but that's a lot left that will love her.
Stay well and safe love to all xxx

Those clear water drops just add a little something
extra to this card. I'm not sure about the angel
either, and I don't know why!!

I absolutely love this card. The background colour is gorgeous and reminds me of the sea in Turkey. And your Angel is just beautiful. I love the little clear drops you have added. Thankyou Sue.

  13. Hi Sue, I remember this card from the launch as the sentiment starts one of my favourite carols. The background is beautiful and this year's angel is, in my opinion, your best one yet.

Pat L - thinking of you and hope your husband is out of the ICU.

  18. Hi Sue

I have just come to your blog late as I went to the Doncaster Craft show today and then fell asleep after my meal.

How strange then for me to see that your post for today is the angel and sentiment die which was a make and take which I took part in today!

Love the colours you have used.

Love from a very tired Helen xxx
