Sweet Baby Girl
Hello there my crafty friends! It's time for the girl babies today! I started with a piece of white card and cut an aperture in the centre with the Double Stitched Circles. I cut a black frame using the next size larger of the circles and added it around the aperture. I backed the aperture with a piece of pink and white dotty paper from the Dots 'n Stripes Paper Pad. Next I used the Noble Pierced Star dies and cut a large pink star and a couple of smaller white stars. I added them around the centre frame, then added a few Water Crystals as accents. I cut the Sweet Baby Girl die in black and added it to a white backing piece. I added the sentiment below the stars with mounting foam. Using the Monochrome Paper Pad, I added a piece of the black and white striped paper to both the top and bottom of the background. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x
Morning Sue.
ReplyDeleteA very pretty card quite versatile for any occasion thank you.
Take care Kitty.
Hiya Sue and all friends that visit.
ReplyDeleteCan a new baby girl card have some 'POW' behind it ? I know that's how we feel the second we've delivered our baby, like the feeling of what just happened lol but today's inspiration has some pretty but powerful WOW behind the design, no cute animals, no pretty baby girl clothes, just big powerful stars, then some little tears placed sweetly which represents those we she'd after days of labour followed by birthing a water melon !!!!!!!! Ouch
A great way to welcome the sweetest miracle in the world.
Love to all this Saturday or Sunday wherever you are in the world xxxxx

Hi Sue. It's taken me ages to add my comment today as I had to go in search of the water crystals, I just had to have them and then I got lost in the website filling up my basket! Love the design of this card but I am not too sure about the use of black on a baby girl card - sorry (perhaps I would use grey instead)
