Special Delivery
Hello bloggers! I cut the Baby's First Train die out of ice blue, yellow and powder pink card. I cut the wheels in black and glued them on each train car. I cut the Baby Woodland Animal die and put the bunny in the engine, the owl and raccoon in the open train card and the deer and hedgehog in the caboose. I cut a large piece of white card for the background. I hand cut a cloud stencil and inked the background with Tumbled Glass, Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac distress inks to make soft clouds in the background. I added the train cars with mounting foam. I cut the railroad crossing sign in black and glued it to the side of the card. I added a sun cut from the Rain Or Shine die and two white clouds from the Twinkle Twinkle Cloud And Stars die. I cut the Special Delivery sentiment out of Ice Blue card and glued it above the train. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6" x 11" in size. I've loved each and every one of your new addition collection, not only are they brilliant from the very first New Baby congrats they work for each occasion thereafter and for those more 'mature' that trains are their love and hobby. But you can make the most perfect nursery art from the tiny 4x4 box frame to hold one of your little animals which can be mounted in blocks of 4, gradually increasing the size of box frame and adding to each picture or story (some ideas for you Ann to do with your DIL when she starts maternity leave lol) I just fell in love with the collection and the more you add the more I fall in love. Good Morning Sue and all that visit this morning. Ohh here we go ... And every time I see your baby cards my heart misses a beat. Very soon my Granddaughter will be having our first great grandchild. And ... as it's a boy ... he will be having a train card. We have been told we may have him sooner than we thought as mummy (our Granddaughter) has been having many problems throughout the pregnancy and so they are giving her a cesarian ... I think at 36 weeks . A beautiful card Sue and those tiny little animals are just to die for. Thankyou Sue. Sending hugs 🤗 and best wishes to everyone who needs them today.
