Hello bloggers! I cut the Beaded Cornice die four times out of white card and four times out of black card. I shadowed each one of the white die cuts with the black die cuts. I attached them to the edges of a piece of Blue Dusk card, overlapping them in the corners. Next I inked the Petunia Stampcut with water based black ink and ran it through my die cutting machine. This cut the die and inked it at the same time. I used alcohol ink markers to colour the image and mounted it in the centre of the card. I used the Just For You saying from the Birthday Wordie sheets and added it next to the floral image with mounting foam. The card was completed with white and black mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 7" in size.
I would like to say a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dear friend Julia Watts today as well as a Happy Birthday to my blog which I started on June 1st 2009 so it is 14 years old today!

It's been a fabulous 14 years, every day is a surprise, every new die collection a success and every sample brings a smile or song in our hearts (almost every inspirational sample) so to you I send love and thanks for the help, caring and love you've put into this place of serenity when things get tough.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, oh wow Happy Birthday to Julia, hope you are doing well in your retirement and still crafting. Also Happy blog birthday Sue, it is the first thing I log onto everyday as I wonder what goodness I will see and you never disappoint me, sometimes the samples may not be my style but I still like to see how they are made, almost all the time it is like opening pandoras box but a blog format, love every day and long may it continue.

Congratulations Sue on your blog birthday, where have those 14 years gone. I remember your days on Create and Craft when you demonstrated for Spellbinders and later released your own dies as a designer for Spellbinders before branching out with your own brand. I was still just about working and looking for a hobby for when I retired and purchased the Grand Calibur (which I still have) and now use the Platinum.
