Just For You

Hello crafters!  I selected a piece of Arctic Blue card to use as the background.  I embossed it with an embossing folder  (I apologise but I can't find the name of it.)  Next I cut the Flower Pot die out of Slate Grey card.  I cut the top of the pot a second time, then added it with mounting foam on to the pot.  I used Black Soot distress ink to highlight the edges.  I cut the Layered daffodils out of two shades of yellow and I cut the leaves out of two shades of green card.  I assembled the flowers and arranged them in the pot and glued them into place.  I cut the Just For You sentiment out of yellow card and glued it on to the flowerpot.  I added two butterflies in white from the Dainty Butterfly set and glittered them then seated one on the lip of the pot and the other on a flower.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  17. Hi Sue. Daffodils are so symbolic of springtime, unfortunately most of them have gone from our gardens now, but this card is a great way to extend the season,

  20. Hi Sue, a beautiful card and I love it. I am lucky to have lots of late flowering daffodils (narcissus) still flowering, they are mainly white, some with orange trumpets and they brighten up some dull corners of the garden.
