Think Spring
Hello bloggers! I embossed a piece of white card with the Floral Brocade embossing folder for the background of today's card. I cut the Looped Ovals out of Arctic Blue card. I cut the Easter Basket die out of white and added more white slats to it. I filled the basket with eggs from the Easter Egg & Flowers die set. I added a yellow bow to the front of the basket. I cut Chip the Chick in yellow and added a white shell and attached him to the lower corner of the basket. I cut the Think Spring sentiment out of yellow card and glued it in the upper corner. I used the flags from the Celebration Shadowbox die and cut them in pastel colours and attached them to a piece of Bakers twine and taped it into the upper corner. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 9" in size. All for now, Sue x
Hi Sue what a beautiful way to start our day, the delicate shades, that cheeky chick face which I can't help smiling at, how can we not enjoy early spring sunshine when we wake up to such a beautiful piece of inspiration. Hope everyone is doing OK this Wednesday/Thursday depending on which side of the globe you live xxx
Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a very special Easter card this one is, not that they are not all special, I agree with Sue the cheeky chicks face is so cute and brings a smile to my face whenever I see it, The Looped Oval is another of my 'go too' dies and I have the basket, and eggs, well I have to have them for my collection don't I.
