Best Wishes
Hello bloggers! I selected a piece of lilac card for the background of today's card offering. I cut the Jewelled Scalloped Border in white and glued it to the left side of the card. I cut a frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles and added it with mounting foam over the image. I inked the Petunia Stampcuts die with a water based ink (Momento) and ran the die through my die cutting machine. I used alcohol inks to colour the image. I added it with foam to the inside of the frame. I cut the Best Wishes die in black and glued it above the Petunias. I cut a larger piece of lilac card and ran double sided tape around the edges. then coated it with Iced Snow. I added the focal element to the middle with mounting foam. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 9" in size.
The April die release will start here tomorrow morning at 6am. I hope you can join me back here then! All for now, Sue x
You've done it again Sue, on this gloomy drab morning in Lancashire, you've shared with us beautiful inspiration. How and where you get these thoughts and ideas is beyond me, it takes me a good day to ponder if the tones of cardstock go, is the folder too overpowering for the dies, yet you must do so many samples each day to forfill the requirements of your blog and other commitments. This is just gorgeous and I'm intrigued to see the next launch as I feel I've not seen all of your beautiful inspiration from your March Stampcuts launch. I'm sure it will be as beautiful and successful as the previous launches have been. Sending love round the country and to our family around the world xxx
Good Morning Sue. This truly is a Sue Wilson Card. The type of card that first attracted me to this wonderful family of Wilsonette's many years ago. Everything is beautiful. And if I were to change anything at all it would be the colour. Nothing wrong with lilac, I love it. But I also love blue and that would be my choice. Thankyou Sue. The Jewelled Scalloped Border really adds a fabulous touch to your card, and obviously love the Petunia as much as all the Stampcuts Flowers of the last release!
