Before I sign off, I would like to tell you about our newest demonstrator. His name is James Hembrow. I have known James for quite a few years as he and his lovely wife Julie owned a craft shop where I demonstrated for the weekend with Julia Watts some time ago. The shop is now only online, but James is one of the nicest people that I have ever met! He will be doing his very first shows for us today on Hobbymaker at 1pm and 7pm. Please tune in to support James and see his great samples and demos. All for now, Sue x

Thanks A Bunch
Hello there my crafty friends! I started with a piece of white card and very lightly added some soft clouds behind by sponging Tumbled Glass and Spun Sugar over a hand cut cloud stencil. I cut the Easter Bunny from that die set in blush pink. I added a bow tie cut from raspberry card. I coloured his nose, cheeks and ears with Spun Sugar. His tail was made fluffy by adding Fluffy Stuff in white, then heating it. I cut seven carrots out of orange and green. I cut the tops off the orange carrots and glued them onto the green carrots. I arranged all of them so it looked like the bunny was sitting amongst all of them (in his happy place I would guess!) I added on in his hands too. I cut the Thanks A Bunch sentiment in raspberry card and glued it to the top of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 6" x 7" in size.
Good morning Sue
ReplyDeleteWhen I logged on this morning to your blog I kept having yesterdays card, I kept trying and only then realised it was only 5am LOL! Talk about senior moments! Todays card is so sweet!

Hi Sue, maybe you should have uploaded a Halloween witch sample this Saturday as I was only reading about James yesterday on the CE Facebook page with pictures of you all outside his shop, spooky lol.
ReplyDeleteSo back to the inspiration and idea for today, another cutie close up, I really love the expression on the rabbits face, I can't help but smile, the detail is outstanding, made for a "Happy Easter" when it comes round next month.
Will be recording James later as our darling Lottie is visiting, the first time I've seen her since Christmas what with long hospital admissions plus biopsies on my face, I looked such a frightening mess I didn't want it to upset and worry her at her tender age of 8 !!! How did that happen Sue ? Lol
To all our blog friends I send my love and gentle hugs xx
