Hello Friend
Hello bloggers! Here's a really quick and easy card for just about any occasion. I started with a piece of white card and embossed it with the Sea Garden embossing folder. I used the Pierced Layered Flowers and cut them out of custard, soft salmon, coral and Old Rose card. I added white outlines on to all of the flowers. I seated them along the bottom edge of the card and added pearls to all the centres. I cut the Hello Friend sentiment out of both Old Rose card and black. I shadowed the sentiment with the black die cut and glued it to the centre of the card. The card was completed with white mats and layers. The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 3/4" in size. Hi Sue. I do like to see a mostly white card with a few splashes of colour. Love the cheerful little flowers that you have added and the pretty colours are really helping to brighten up this miserable rainy day today.
Morning Sue, absolutely love todays card, I think that embossing folder is one I use so often as it makes such a fab background, perfect for the soft colours of the beautiful flowers. Take care and stay warm everyone. Bx
The embossed background is beautiful and has lots of character. I love the way you have allowed it to really shine and then added the sentiment die cut and the border of flowers along the bottom edge. Beautiful card. Hugs.
Hi Sue Beautiful cards the last few days. Gorgeous colours and techniques. I need to find my pixie powders tho, could they be in the garage, Bathroom, bedroom or Son's/ my craft room........? Have a good weekend x
