Joyful

Hello bloggers!  I cut the Wreath Frame twice out of white card.  I put the two die cuts together and cut off one side on both of them.  I reassembled the two leftover pieces to make a rectangular frame.  I cut a white rectangle and matted it with a thin Antique Gold mat and attached it to the frame.  I cut the word Joyful out of gold card and glued it to the white mat.  I cut a large frame using the Clipped Corner Rectangles.  I added mounting foam to it then added a piece of gold card to it.  I seated the focal element inside the white frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  8 1/4"  in size.  All for now, Sue x

  2. Morning Sue and all that visit. Lots of snow and ice here in Lancashire June, it keeps freezing over every night and I've never been so cold.
This joyful inspiration will warm the cockles of our heart though, I love the vintage gold cardstock and use it a lot during the season of the ice age! It's classie elegant and makes our projects look expensive, also for other golden occasions. This could be used for any celebration in my opinion, chance the expression and you have an autumn/winter birthday card or anniversary. It's just beautiful.
Hope our friends that are under the weather are feeling a little better, get a hot toddy and your snuggly throw and get yourself well, love and gentle hugs to all that want one they cost nowt xxx

  7. Hi Sue,

A beautiful card. The way you have cut and assembled the wreath frame looks beautiful. The old gold on the card gives it an expensive touch too could be used for any occasion, depending on the sentiment used.
